Welcome.

Today's meditation is a short connection session for you and your baby.

Find a comfortable position either seated or lying down.

Take yourself to wherever feels more comfortable for you.

If you're beyond 20 weeks pregnant then ensure you do not lie completely flat on your back.

Place a pillow underneath your right side to ease the pressure of your baby.

Gently close down your eyes.

I like to complete this meditation in the bath with a scented candle burning.

Something like jasmine or rose which promotes feelings of attachment and love.

You can choose a space which feels best for you and where you feel relaxed.

Close down your eyes.

Place both hands gently on the centre of your belly.

We begin by breathing in for the count of three.

I want you to imagine your breathing oxygen deep down directly into your baby.

Feel it flowing through you and connecting with your baby.

Hold the breath for a count of three.

This time imagining the oxygen flowing throughout your baby's body and coming to settle at their heart centre.

And then exhale for the count of three.

We're going to do this for five rounds in your own time.

I'll guide you through the first and then four to follow.

In for three,

Hold for three,

Exhale for three.

So wherever you're at in your breath cycle now,

Exhale and in for three,

Two,

One.

Hold the breath for three,

Two,

One.

And exhale for three,

Two,

One.

Now continue in your own time for another four rounds.

Exhale for three,

Two,

One.

Now after the last exhale,

I want you to imagine that you're making eye contact with that beautiful baby of yours that is growing inside of you.

See your baby's eyes as their gaze meets yours.

Feel the energy flow between the two of you.

I want you to move the corners of your mouth up into a smile as you see your baby smiling back at you.

The connection between the two of you is great.

It goes deeper than anything imaginable.

And this little baby is patiently waiting for the time that they come out to meet you.

Now as we start to bring ourselves back,

I want you to take in a big deep breath,

Filling the depths of your lungs and imagine the oxygen once again flowing down to your baby.

And this time exhale everything out from the base of your lungs.

Slowly start to wiggle your fingers and toes.

Move your level of consciousness back into the present moment.

You can move your head from side to side.

Gently blink open your eyes.

You feel a deep sense of connection with your baby.

This will continue long after the meditation is completed.

And know that this meditation is available to you whenever you need it.

Thank you beautiful souls.

Namaste.

Lovely short pregnancy meditation, thank you 🙏 it would be nice if the music faded out at the end rather than stopping abruptly but that’s no big deal
