Xu was born and raised in Shanghai, China. After training in art school, she moved to the United States in 2001 to pursue her passion for visual art. A transformative spiritual experience in 2008 opened the door to a deep inner journey. Since then, she has explored meditation, chanting, Chi Nei Tsang, Inner Space Technique, and other healing practices. She also returned to Chi Gong and Tai Chi, which she learned as a child in China. Xu is a globally certified Chi Nei Tsang (CNT) and Inner Space Technique (IST) practitioner and teaches Chi Gong and Tai Chi in person and online. Her teaching and healing work intersect with her visual art practice, with creativity woven into the way she sees and works with the world. Rooted in joy and lightness, Xu’s teaching stands apart. She believes spiritual practice does not have to be heavy or solemn. The best medicine is laughter, curiosity, play, and pleasure. Drawing from ancient Taoist wisdom and diverse healing traditions, Xu translates deep teachings into accessible, contemporary practices, bridging East and West and bringing the essence of Tao into everyday life as something to experience. Her teaching reflects the beauty of her creativity, while her profound understanding of spirituality illuminates every aspect of her approach. She embodies compassion, patience, and understanding, inspiring hope and bringing comfort to those she serves.
