This Ovarian Breathing Meditation is a Taoist-based energy practice to connect to the ovaries, energize them, and bathe them with healing energy. This practice is for all women but especially helpful for those with cysts, irregular cycles, PMS, or other reproductive issues.

Hello and welcome to the Ovarian Breathing Meditation.

My name is Sabrina Oranija,

Home on Expert,

Womb Alchemist,

And your guide through this ancient Taoist meditation practice.

This meditation is an active energy practice,

And part one of a two-part series.

In this meditation,

We'll learn how to connect to the ovaries,

Energize them,

And bathe them with healing energy.

In the second meditation,

We'll add on how to circulate that energy throughout the body.

The purpose of this practice is to cultivate sacral or sexual energy and deepen our connection to our womb and our ovaries.

We also learn to bring more awareness,

Connection,

And healing to these areas.

And this practice is especially helpful if you have cysts,

Irregular absence cycles,

Suffer from PMS,

Or any other reproductive issues such as endometriosis or PCOS.

It is contraindicated,

However,

If you are currently pregnant or trying to conceive.

Before we get started,

There's a few things to explain.

One,

We want to help locate the ovaries.

So bringing both hands over your belly,

Meeting your thumbs right at your belly button,

And your pointer fingers together just above your pubic bone.

From here,

Where your little finger or pinkies are,

Should be right above your ovaries on each side to the right and the left.

Another place that we'll be speaking about during the meditation is known as the ovarian palace.

So keeping your hands here,

Locate where your pointer fingers come together at the midline of the body between both the ovaries.

This is known in Taoist practice as the ovarian palace.

One more thing to prepare us for the meditation is locating and learning how to contract your PC muscles.

So these are the muscles that you would use or contract when trying to stop the flow of urine.

So take a moment right now to connect with that feeling of contracting as though you were trying to stop the flow of urine and feeling that contraction as a pulling in and a lifting up.

We're going to be practicing that throughout the meditation as well.

Okay,

So to get started,

You can begin in a seated position or lying down,

Whichever is more comfortable.

So as you find yourself in your comfortable position,

We'll begin by just breathing gently and bringing our awareness to our breath.

Breathing fully,

Deeply,

And exhaling,

Releasing any tension in the body.

And allowing yourself to bring your awareness to any places of tension and releasing them,

Softening through your exhale.

As you continue breathing deeply and slowly,

Bring your hands over your breasts.

And we'll begin with some gentle breast massage.

The purpose of this is to activate the endocrine system and help the body connect more deeply to the ovaries.

So you can begin however feels comfortable,

Whether that's gently spiraling around each breast,

Allowing the breast to activate,

To bring more circulation and warmth.

And continue breathing into your chest and into your heart center as you do this.

Breathing in closer toward the nipple,

Allowing yourself to just gently stimulate your nipples on either side.

This activating the release of oxytocin in the body and stimulating your whole endocrine system.

Continue breathing deeply into your heart center,

Softening your chest,

And gently massaging your breasts in a way that feels comfortable to you.

Now that your breasts are fully activated,

Take a deep inhalation into your heart space.

And as you exhale,

Allow that energy from your breasts and your heart center to flow down into your ovaries,

From the left to the left,

And from the right breast down to the right ovary.

And give yourself just a moment to connect with the energy of your ovaries.

If it feels good at this moment to move your hands back down to that downward pointing triangle position we did earlier,

You can do so,

So that you can locate your ovaries and bring your hands to your ovaries,

Allowing yourself to connect with them through touch as well.

As you inhale,

Breathe deep,

And as you exhale,

Release with a sound,

Continuing to feel that flow of energy from your breasts down to your ovaries with each breath,

Allowing that energy to sink deeply.

And you can begin massaging your ovaries in gentle spirals without much pressure,

Just softly,

And breathing into the ovaries,

The left and the right.

And as you breathe this energy into your ovaries,

Imagine them warming up under your hands,

Keeping your focus and awareness on each ovary.

And allow yourself to visualize a continuous flow of this loving energy moving in and around each individual ovary and then around your entire womb space.

Feeling the energy expand with your inhale and accumulate in each ovary as you exhale.

Breathe this focus and awareness on your ovaries for a few more minutes,

Allowing the energy to build,

Visualizing loving,

Healing energy,

Moving as light flowing around and through each ovary and filling your entire womb space with light.

At this point,

You may begin to feel the energy moving there,

Maybe experiencing as heat or tingling.

There might be some tension.

And even if you don't feel anything,

Allow yourself to continue to attune to your ovaries and accumulate more loving,

Healing energy.

Feeling the energy as best you can moving through,

Knowing you'll be more sensitive to this with more practice.

Now taking a moment to implant an affirmation,

Anything that you like,

That is a suggestion,

Something like,

I honor and invite in the wisdom of my orarien palace to guide me now.

And take time to listen,

Listening for any inner wisdom,

Any visions,

Memories or feelings that might come up as you open and connect to the wisdom of your ovaries.

Giving love and acceptance for anything that you receive,

Thanking your ovaries for sharing their wisdom with you,

Breathing through any feelings that might come up.

And thanking your ovaries for sharing this wisdom with you.

Now bring your awareness down to those PC muscles,

Very gently and slightly contract them as though you were opening and closing your vaginal opening like a flower.

This allows this energy from leaking out and helps us to harness it.

To feel that pulsating of energy from your yoni or your vaginal opening,

Moving up back into your ovaries,

Keeping the energy there,

Allowing it to accumulate without leaking.

And now taking a long inhalation through your nose,

Bring the energy from your ovaries toward the midline of the body or the ovarian palace.

And as you exhale,

Allow it to accumulate there.

So continuing to breathe in,

Drawing the energy from the right and left ovaries toward the center of the body and exhaling,

Allowing it to spiral and accumulate directly in the center.

You can also continue to gently contract your PC muscles slightly,

Allowing that growing up pulsating energy,

That healing love energy to build at the ovarian palace.

And once you feel ready,

That you've accumulated the energy,

Allow yourself to relax your PC muscles,

Connecting with the ovarian palace,

The center between both ovaries and feeling a smile coming through,

Radiating and filling your whole body with light.

And allow yourself to just bathe in this feeling for as long as you like.

Continue this practice daily or as often as feels good to you.

And once you feel comfortable with it,

You can come back and listen to part two on how to take that energy and circulate it and direct it through the body.
