Hello,
My dear friend.
Welcome to this beautiful moment.
Where we're gonna enjoy a little bit of silence and self-love.
Find the quiet.
Comfortable posture where you can relax.
You can sit with an open chest or lay down comfortably.
Gently close your eyes.
Drop your shoulders away from your ears.
And release any tension in your jaw.
Let your hands rest softly.
In your lap.
Or in the bed.
Take a moment to notice how much pressure you carry every single day.
The subtle voice that tells you that you should be further along.
Doing more.
Or feeling differently than you do right now.
Today for these few minutes.
We are giving that inner critic permission to rest.
You do not need to defend yourself.
Or fix anything about who you are.
Take a deep,
Slow breath in through your nose,
Letting your belly expand.
And let a long,
Smooth exhale through your mouth.
Letting your entire body soften.
More time.
Breathe in warmth and ease and exhale completely,
Releasing any heavy expectations into the space around you.
Please.
One palm gently of your heart.
Feel the warm.
Physical contact of your hand resting against your chest.
And relax.
Notice the tone you usually use.
When talking to yourself.
During low moments or mistakes.
How often do you judge yourself for feeling anxious,
Tired or hurt?
How often do you demand perfection?
From a heart that's simply trying its best to heal.
Today we practice changing that zone from harshness to gentle and kindness.
And warm.
Imagine talking to yourself the same way you would speak to a young child or a dear friend who is having a difficult day.
You wouldn't scold them for being human.
You would offer them patience,
A warm hug.
And a safe place to rest.
Silently say to yourself with deep gentleness It's okay to be human.
It's okay to feel.
It's okay to rest.
It's okay to just be.
And I am doing my best.
Whenever a critical thought pops up in your mind,
Do not fight it or judge yourself for having it.
Simply bow to it gently and say,
Thank you.
But I don't need the harshness right now.
I choose Peace instead.
Feel the physical relief in your throat,
Shoulders and stomach when you stop demanding perfection from yourself.
And now repeat the soft phrases in your mind,
Allowing each word to bring ease to your body.
I release the need to judge my feelings.
I replace self-criticism with gentle understanding.
I am worthy of my own unconditional love.
Take a deep,
Nourishing breath into your chest.
Feeling yourself with kindness and exhale slowly,
Letting go of judgment completely.
When you feel ready,
Gently move your body.
Take a slow breath and open your eyes.
And carry.
Just gentle,
Tone with you into the rest of your life.
