Take a deep breath in and exhale fully.
This guided journey is an invitation to tend your anger with care,
To listen to its wisdom,
And to nurture its movement into clarity.
Anger is not something to fear,
It is a force of transformation.
And when honored,
It can guide you toward truth,
Grounded power,
And deeper self-trust.
There is nothing to fix,
Only space to feel,
To breathe,
And to honor what's present.
So let's begin.
Start by bringing your awareness to your breath.
Taking a deep breath in through the nose and allowing your belly to expand and exhaling through your mouth with a sigh as if you're letting something go.
Again,
Inhaling,
Filling your whole body with breath.
And exhaling and feeling the body begin to soften.
One more time,
Inhale deeply,
Expanding the belly and exhaling fully through the mouth and just grounding into this moment.
Feeling the body gently softening more and more.
And now just dropping into the body.
Just allowing your attention to move downwards into the body,
To feel the weight of your sit bones,
Your legs,
Your feet,
And just noticing the contact points between you and the ground.
Can you feel the support beneath you?
Can you feel yourself being held?
Now imagine roots extending from your spine,
Your legs,
Your feet,
And reaching deep into the earth.
Watching those roots growing deeper and deeper into the earth.
And feel those roots begin to anchor you in.
To hold you.
You And now just begin to explore what's happening in your internal world.
Noticing any sensations,
Any emotional tones,
Any subtle energy.
And just noticing in your body where you feel most grounded.
Or where you feel any tension or tightness or numbness.
And can you stay present with what's here?
There's no need to fix anything or change anything.
Just notice.
And staying connected to your bray.
Just staying with whatever is rising for you in this moment.
You Often we are not aware.
That we are storing anger in our body.
So I'm going to invite you to just gently bring presence and awareness.
To any of these sensations rising in the body.
And just tuning in.
And asking yourself.
Where is anger living in my body today?
You Does it feel like heat in your chest,
A clenching jaw,
A knot in your belly,
Or a buzzing sensation in your limbs?
Again just noticing,
Without judgment,
Just feeling.
And letting these sensations unfold.
And as you inhale,
Just imagining your breath going into that area.
Creating space,
Inviting ease.
And as you exhale,
Allowing some of that tightness or heat.
Or buzzing,
Just to soften and release.
On your inhale,
Making room,
And on your exhale,
Letting go.
I'm beginning to feel more deeply into these sensations.
Does it feel hot?
Does it feel sharp?
Does it feel dense?
Is it still,
Restless,
Expanding?
You giving it permission to move,
To shift,
To change.
And just repeat silently or aloud,
I am safe to feel this.
This is energy moving through me.
I trust this fire within me.
Anger is not your enemy.
It is aliveness.
It's truth rising up.
You Now let yourself get curious.
If your anger had a shape,
What would it be?
Would it be jagged?
Would it be coiled?
Would it be heavy?
Would it be expanding?
And if it had a colour,
What would it look like?
Burning red,
Flashing orange,
Deep grey.
And if it had a texture,
Would it be rough,
Sticky,
Smoky or sharp?
Explore this directly in your body.
And let the sensations show you,
Not your mind.
Now feel into movement.
Does this energy want to curl inward,
Rise upward,
Press outward or shake?
Let it move through you.
Maybe it starts with a pulse in your fingers or a twitch in your shoulder.
Simply follow the thread.
You And if your anger had a sound,
What would it say?
Would it whisper,
Growl,
Cry or scream?
Let it express itself through a sigh,
A hum,
A low moan or a breathy roar.
There is no right way.
Only what's honest.
You Let your body move.
Roll your shoulders.
Sway your spine.
Shake out your hands.
Let the energy move you.
Anger is not stagnant,
It's motion waiting to be felt.
To give it the space to breathe,
To sound,
To shift.
Now see a sacred fire before you.
This is not a fire of destruction.
This is a transformational fire.
Wise,
Ancient,
Alchemical.
Now gather the anger you've connected with,
Its sensation,
Its voice,
Its purpose,
And offer it to the flames.
Not to be rid of it,
But to allow it to become something new.
You to transform it into fuel.
You And as the flames rise,
Ask,
What is this anger protecting?
What boundary has been crossed?
What truth is ready to be spoken?
What action wants to be taken?
Feel into it.
Let the fire speak.
Let it show you what's underneath.
Let it return your anger to you as clarity,
Direction,
Knowing.
Breathe in the warmth.
Breathe in the string.
Exhale what you no longer need to carry.
Let the fire transform you.
Now come back to your breath.
Feeling it moving in and out.
Simple,
Steady and alive.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Feel your heartbeat.
Feel your body.
What feels different?
Do you feel lighter,
More grounded,
More clear?
You you Now place your hands on your heart and say to yourself,
I honor my fire.
I listen to my truth.
I rise with clarity and strength.
Now slowly begin to move again,
Wiggling your fingers,
Rolling your shoulders,
Stretching your body gently.
Whatever feels good right now.
Then gently open your eyes.
And just sitting in stillness and presence for a moment,
Allowing yourself to land.
You Your fire has spoken.
And now you can rise.
Before moving on with your day,
Give yourself space to integrate.
Move your body.
Shake,
Stretch,
Dance,
Walk.
Let energy settle.
Journal your insights.
What did the anger show you?
What clarity came through?
And drink water.
Help your body recalibrate and ground.
In some final thoughts,
Anger is sacred.
It clears,
Awakens,
And propels us forward.
When tendered and nurtured,
It becomes a force for clarity,
Creation,
And movement.
Let this be your reminder.
Your fire is yours to tend,
To nurture,
And to transform.
Thank you for journeying through this practice.
May you continue to tend and nurture your fire with strength,
Clarity,
And care.
