Good morning,
And welcome to this practice designed to ignite your inner fire and fill you with energy,
Confidence,
And of course drive.
By tuning in to the warmth and vitality within your body and mind,
You'll awaken a profound sense of purpose and enthusiasm for the day ahead.
So let's begin.
So begin by finding a quiet spot where you feel comfortable.
You can sit in a chair with your feet firmly on the ground,
Or on a cushion with your legs crossed,
Whatever position allows you to feel stable and alert.
And if possible,
Lengthen your spine so you feel both grounded and tall,
And gently rest your hands on your thighs.
And now,
Close your eyes or just lower your gaze.
Take a few deep,
Full breaths,
Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
Feel your body begin to settle.
Notice the weight of your feet on the floor,
The pressure of your body against the chair or the cushion.
And with each breath,
Invite yourself to become present.
This morning is a fresh start,
A blank canvas ready for you to paint with your intentions and actions.
Allow any lingering thoughts or worries to drift into the background.
This is your time to stoke the fires of motivation.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice how it feels to draw air in through the nose,
Filling your lungs with life-giving oxygen.
And then,
Gently let the air flow out,
Releasing it through your nose or mouth in a soft,
Steady exhale.
And with each inhalation,
Imagine you're drawing in energy and warmth.
And with each exhale,
Let go of tension,
Fatigue,
And of course,
Doubt.
So continue the pattern.
Inhale,
An energizing breath.
And exhale,
Relaxing and releasing the breath.
So feel yourself becoming more centered,
More present with every cycle.
If you find your mind wandering,
Gently guide your attention back to the natural flow of inhaling and exhaling.
You are here,
In this moment,
Fully alive.
And before we kindle the fire of motivation,
Let's wake up the body a little bit.
So starting at your toes,
Notice any tingling there,
Or a warmth,
Or simply the presence of your feet.
So imagine softening any tension as you move your attention upward,
Through your ankles,
Your calves,
And your knees.
Sense your thighs relaxing as your hips settle more deeply into your seat.
And then travel your awareness to your lower abdomen,
Feeling a gentle expansion and contraction with each breath.
Allow your chest to open,
Your shoulders dropping away from your ears.
Soften any tightness in your neck or jaw.
Feel the muscles around your eyes,
And the muscles around your forehead,
Just release.
So let's awaken the spark of motivation within.
So visualize a tiny glowing ember or spark,
Just beneath your navel,
Or in the center of your chest,
Whatever feels more natural to you.
This small warm blow is the seed of your inner fire.
It represents your potential,
Your passion,
And your ambition.
And as you breathe in,
Imagine a gentle breeze of oxygen fueling this ember.
And as you breathe out,
Notice how it glows,
Just a little brighter.
Continue to breathe in and out,
Watching this ember come to life,
With every inhale and every exhale,
Steadily growing from a spark into a small flame.
This flame is your drive,
Your determination to move forward in life.
It carries within it the energy of your deepest goals and the passion that propels you to pursue them.
So let yourself feel its heat,
Invite it to illuminate your mind,
Awaken your heart and energize your body.

Imagine this small flame slowly expanding.

And with each breath,

Perhaps you see the flickering light dancing against the inside of your eyelids,

So envision the flame becoming vibrant,

Allow it to ignite within you a bold sense of confidence.
This internal fire is powerful yet controlled,
Focused on fueling your passion,
Stoking your creativity and propelling you into purposeful action.
It burns away self-doubt,
Lethargy,
Or even hesitation,
Making space for clarity and determination.
So as you hold the image of the growing flame in your mind,
Let's infuse it with some affirmations.
