As we begin to bring our attention inward and take a moment to focus on ourselves,
I invite you to start off by taking your meditation seat.
This can be on a cushion on the floor,
On your bed,
On a chair,
On a couch.
You want to get into a comfortable posture with a good firm connection between your butt and the cushion.
And you can sit with your legs crossed or with your feet flat on the ground.
And you can just rest your hands on your thighs or your knees,
Whatever feels most comfortable for you.
Your torso,
Head and shoulders should be upright but relaxed.
And you can take a moment to just feel into your body right now.
If you need to make any adjustments,
If you feel tension in any part of your body,
You can stretch.
And when you're ready,
I invite you to close your eyes.
And we'll start off by taking three deep breaths together.
Deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Another deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
One more deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
And now I invite you to just focus on that natural breath.
You can focus on the air going in and out of your nostrils or the movement in your stomach.
And if you notice yourself thinking or getting distracted,
I invite you to just keep bringing it back to your breath.
Now I want you to imagine a bright golden light at the top of your crown chakra.
This bright golden light is filled with positive energy and warmth.
And as you breathe in and out,
This light starts to move down into your crown chakra,
Down to your forehead.
And it begins to relax these parts of your body,
Relaxing your mind,
Relaxing your forehead,
And then continuing to allow this light to move down your eyes,
Bringing this positive energy down your nose,
Down your cheeks.
If you feel any tension in your mouth,
In your jaw,
You can move your jaw,
Releasing any of that tension.
Just continuing to allow this light to move down to your neck,
And down into your shoulders.
And again,
If you feel any tension in your shoulders,
You can move your shoulders,
Releasing any tension that you may feel there.
Just allow this light to continue to move down to your arms,
Down to your fingertips.
And I invite you,
Just for a moment,
To feel that energy in your fingertips.
You may feel some tingling,
You may feel some warmth.
Just allowing this positive energy to permeate into the cells of your body.
Continuing to allow this bright golden light down your chest,
Down into that heart space,
Clearing out any negative energy in this space,
And continuing to move down into your torso.
And again,
If you have any thoughts running through your mind,
Just continue to bring it back into your breath,
And focusing on that bright golden light,
Just moving down your body,
Releasing any negative energy and any tension.
Just allow this light to now continue to move down to your pelvic area,
Feeling this light move down to your thighs,
To your knees,
Moving all the way down to the tips of your toes.
And just continuing to feel that connection between the ground underneath you,
And feeling that light in your spine.
And just take a moment to feel what this energy feels like in your body,
Seeing that light from the top of your head down to the tips of your toes,
Feeling connected to your body,
Feeling connected to that light.
Continuing to allow this energy to radiate through your body,
And breathing in this light.
Just focus on how this feels for you right now.
If you continue to feel any stress,
Any negative energy,
In any parts of your body,
Just breathe into those areas,
And allow this light to clear out that negative energy,
To clear out that tension.
Just give you a moment to continue to breathe,
And to continue to feel this positive energy throughout your body.
And as we begin to bring this meditation to an end,
I invite you to allow this energy to continue to flow through your body throughout the day,
Into tomorrow.
And this energy is here for you whenever you need it.
And as we started this meditation,
We will end this meditation taking three deep breaths together.
Taking a deep breath in through your nose,
And out through your mouth.
Taking another deep breath in through your nose,
And out through your mouth.
One more deep breath in through your nose,
And out through your mouth.
Now you can start to wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes,
Bringing your attention back into your space.
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
