Nowadays Vojto Monteur is easily recognized by jazz fans as a guitar player for 7-piece band EABS. His countless performances and experiments (also music for theater and movies) let him play the guitar with a modern approach. His instruments are subjected to countless modulations. As a result, we get the guitar sounding spacey and ambient – not at all as a standard-sounding rock or jazz guitar. Just unique. Studying possibilities to transform familiar sound into something unknown is the artistic trademark of Vojto Monteur. Ambient landscapes, mysterious hums, and electro-acoustic experiments are very characteristic elements of his music.
