This spoken word poem is human made and written by Venus Jones and includes a word at the end that some don't utter in certain sects. If you've ever heard we make a way out of no way you understand. It serves as proof that tough times don't last always. I'm living prof and it offers hope and reassurance to anyone going through a storm or battling depression. It is a reminder that difficult moments can ease with time—and that the speaker’s survival is proof that getting through is possible. It may help the historically marginalized feel seen during periods of emotional struggle, isolation, or uncertainty, and offer a moment to pause and reconnect with a sense of hope. Use the intentional moment of silence at the end as space to move through any feelings, breathe deeply, pray or reflect, and picture yourself finding renewed faith and a greater sense of freedom. Sound design by fellow Insight Timer Teacher, TheUnmanagedSelf aka Karl Haycock.
