As you're lying down,
Coming into any comfortable position where your body can settle into the moment.
Maybe putting a cushion underneath your knees.
Maybe folding a blanket underneath your head,
Covering yourself up with the blanket as the body starts to cool down when it comes into a relaxed state.
And just for a moment,
I want you to take a big full breath in all the way to the top and just sigh with the mantra,
Ah.
Do this three times in,
Just allowing all the weight of the body to go,
Melting down into the earth.
Feel a warmth or a coolness in your body.
Feel the temperature that you desire.
Allow your body to just naturally settle all the way down.
Feel the weight,
The melting away of all the tension and stress.
Allow your feet to fall away to either sides of your body.
Allow your ankles to relax in your shins.
Allow your knees to fall to the side and any tension in the thighs.
Any gripping in the front of the hips,
Just allow it to melt,
Opening,
Resting.
Allow your belly to just naturally begin to rise and fall.
Any tension in the chest,
Just allow it to settle.
Feel the rhythm of your heart start to slow down.
Allow your chest and shoulders to melt into the earth.
Any tension in the upper arms,
Elbows or forearms,
Just let it heavy down,
Resting,
Releasing.
Any tension or stress just washing away out of the palms of the hands and out of each one of the fingers.
Allow your palms to face the sky.
One more big,
Full breath in here,
And a big sigh.
Allow your buttocks to relax and your tailbone,
And feel your lower spine,
Warmth traveling up,
A beautiful,
Warm light traveling from the tailbone all the way up the spine and between the shoulder blades,
And resting,
Washing over the shoulders,
Up the back of the neck.
Feel each piece of hair on your head just settle.
The warmth washing over your forehead,
And just allow your eyes to become heavy.
Allow your ears to relax,
Allow your eyelids to relax,
Your cheeks,
Your jaw,
Allow your mouth to fall open and your tongue to curl.
And just for one more big,
Full breath in,
Big sigh out.
Invite yourself into this moment,
Into your breath.
Taking the deepest breath available to you from the base of the diaphragm up into your chest,
And then releasing all that is not this moment.
The true definition of the moment is a short period of time,
An instant,
The present moment in time.
And if you're actually still and slow down enough,
You will feel it.
I'd like you to ask yourself,
Why this moment matters to you.
Tune in to the first response your body offers.
Why this moment matters to you.
One more big,
Full breath in all the way to the top and big sigh all the way out.
Breath is a tool that you can choose in your life.
It can heal you,
Calm you,
Guide you,
Protect you and keep you clear.
This moment means nothing without you in it.
So I invite you into this moment with me.
Hear my voice as it is off in the distance.
Almost let yourself feel it as a little blurry.
You are a powerful source of energy,
Uninterrupted by the currents of the world.
And with your breath,
You can sustain your power to keep yourself present.
To not miss the moments that matter.
So once again,
I want you to tune in to why this moment matters to you.
Taking a big,
Full breath all the way into the top and big sigh all the way out.
Allowing the quiet to enter deep into your heart.
Invite the quiet deep into your mind,
Deep into your subconscious.
You are the quiet.
The power of no sound,
The power of no movement,
Empty and still.
As you are here in this place of still,
Quiet relaxation.
Just visualize all the wonderful things in your life that you're grateful for.
Just feel the warmth of the energy of gratitude and how it can shift the mind and how it can shift any negative energies that surround your physical body.
And for this remaining of the Shavasana,
I would just like you to stay here as long as you feel comfortable.
Maybe you can put some soft music on and maybe you just drift off to sleep.
However it is that you want to welcome yourself back into your body,
Do so gently,
Consciously and mindfully.
Thank you for listening to Uniquely Pure.
