Take time to pause to fully experience each segment of the exercise.
With your eyes open,
Begin examining your hands,
Palms,
Fingers.
Back of your hands.
Notice their shape.
Color.
Texture.
Lines.
Edges.
Notice hair,
Spots.
Skyrus.
Fingernails.
Notice the thoughts that come to your mind as you examine your hands.
Now close your eyes and feel your left hand.
Let go of thinking about your hand.
Experience the actual sensations that make up your left hand.
Feel sensations of pulsing.
Radiating.
Notice your hand as a field of sensation.
Notice how far out this field of sensation reaches.
Don't go into thinking.
Keep feeling your left hand.
Now feel your right hand.
Experience the actual sensations that make up your right hand.
Feel sensations of pulsing.
Radiating.
Notice your right hand.
As a field of sensations.
Feel how far out this field of sensation extends.
Don't go into thinking.
Keep feeling your right hand.
Now feel both hands simultaneously.
Take your time.
Don't go into thinking.
Allow the energy and aliveness of your hands to fully unfold in your awareness.
Feel your two hands as a field of sensation.
That extends out into the space.
Now open your eyes.
And keep feeling your hands.
Now close your eyes again while continuing to feel your hands.
Now begin to welcome sensations.
Throughout the rest of your body.
Feel your entire body as sensation.
Now open your eyes.
While you continue feeling your hands and body.
Look around you while continuing to feel your hands and body.
Before returning to your daily activities.
Take a few minutes and reflect on your experience.
