This is a brief healing energy practice that is designed to bring you a sense of inner peace. In light of the current outbreak that has created a drastic rift in the planet, all of humanity is being called to harness the power of its own inner light and to send it out to the entire world. Before we begin this meditation,

I wanted to note that the collective energy at the present moment is clearly one that is filled with fear and anxiety over not having control over the current situation at hand.

It's incredibly important during this time to be able to separate ourselves from the fearful energy and come back to our own energetic space.

It's equally as important to transmute that energy of fear into a more powerful state that embodies a healing energy.

That is,

The energy of love.

When we meditate and ground ourselves,

We become rooted in our own foundation and can spend more time nourishing our inner light with this love and awareness of the situation.

And as a result,

We can then send that light out into the world.

Let's begin now.

Find yourself in a comfortable seated position with legs crossed.

Sit upright with spine tall and lengthened,

Shoulders relaxed and jaw unclutched.

Gently place your hands on your lap with your palms facing upward or down,

Whatever is most comfortable for you at this time.

Feel into any sensation that arises in your body.

Notice any tingling in your fingers and toes.

Notice the rhythm of your heartbeat and how it is perfectly in sync with the rise and fall of your chest.

Gently embrace where you are in this moment.

If any feelings or thoughts come up,

Just observe.

And when you're ready,

Start to deepen the breath.

Inhale slowly and fully through the nose,

Noticing your lungs expand.

Pause for a moment and then exhale fully out through your mouth,

Letting it all go.

Inhale again deeply,

Feeling the energy of rest and relaxation enter every cell in your body.

Hold the breath for a moment at the top and then exhale completely,

Feeling your belly expand.

Continue to release a little bit more with each breath.

Keep breathing in and out at your own pace and when it's time,

I'll remind you to come back into the room.

If your mind starts to go off track for the next few minutes,

Just follow your breath and let it guide you.

Inhale slowly and fully through the nose,

Letting it all go.

Inhale slowly and fully through the nose.

Inhale slowly and fully through the nose.

Inhale slowly and fully through the nose.

Inhale slowly and fully through the nose.

Inhale slowly and fully through the nose.

Inhale slowly and fully through the nose.

Inhale slowly and fully through the nose.

Inhale slowly and fully through the nose.

Inhale slowly and fully through the nose.

Slowly start to come back into your space and inhale your deepest breath yet,

Chest rising up and forward while you stay firmly rooted in your seated position.

And on an exhale,

Release the practice.

Gently open your eyes and bring your hands to heart center in prayer position.

Take another big inhale and on the out breath,

Imagine yourself sending out a healing light and energy into the world.

Namaste.
