Allow your eyes to close and as soon as you do you can relax even more deeply.
Just allow your body to make the most of this opportunity by releasing and letting go of any tightness or tension,
Enjoying the relief that comes when you choose to relax.
And just let your body release all that effort as you breathe out,
Becoming more relaxed and comfortable with each breath.
As your body continues to ease out and this relaxation begins to feel more and more pleasurable.
So you can let your mind drift,
Just let your mind go.
Let it float away like in a pleasant dream,
Drifting to any place you choose,
Following thoughts of comfort and ease.
Just letting yourself drift and float.
So now begin to visualise yourself near a beautiful hillside that stretches upward in front of you.
Find yourself at the foot of this gentle hill,
Just following a spring shower and see the sun shining over the top of the hill.
The rays of the warm sun coming to rest just in front of you.
You notice that there is a small purple pouch lying at your feet.
You pick this up and you can see that the pouch is full of seeds.
You scatter some of the seeds where you stand and you begin to walk up the hill.
A bit further up,
You reach into the pouch again and scatter more seeds.
And as you do,
You feel a deep sense of inner peace as these magical seeds instantly bring lush green growth to the hillside.
You can see new grass and meadow flowers springing up around you.
Breathe in deeply and experience the fresh scent of new grass.
Listen to the sound of the wind blowing gently through the meadow flowers.
Gaze upon the new life that is growing in nature and take a moment to think about the new life that is growing within you.
Feel the security of the presence of life and the light deep within you.
Feel the strength grow within you and know that you are in control of your health.
You may occasionally find your mind wandering or drifting off in its own direction and that's okay for there is nothing that you need to do right now.
There is no place to go,
No problem to solve,
Nothing to do but relax and let go.
So relax and let go.
Listen as you relax and let go,
You are always aware of my voice speaking to you,
Perhaps not consciously listening to what's being said.
However,
Your inner mind hears everything and very soon my words will become your thoughts and your thoughts will generate a whole new way of thinking,
Feeling and being for you.
As you rest,
I'd like you to feel yourself stopping by a pool of clear water.
You can see yourself reflected clearly in the water and you take a drink of this cold,
Clean pure water to refresh yourself.
You are grateful for your ability to know that this is the energy and nature of your true being and you know that the new life growing safely within you will benefit from nature's pure waters just as the flowers and the grass around you benefit.
You continue to walk up the hill,
Scattering your seeds as you move,
Watching the new life of grasses,
Trees and flowers instantly grow,
A cascade of colour,
An abundance of aromas,
An orchestra of soft music from the buzzing of the bees to the chirping crickets,
The sweet notes of birdsong.
You look to the sky and see the pure light of the sun.
You visualise the rays of the sunshine showering the entire garden and you feel ripples of vibration as drops of pure brilliant light shower the garden with energy.
You move to the top of the hill and scatter the remaining seeds around you and a profusion of roses immediately grow close to you,
A rainbow of roses,
Red,
Orange,
Yellow,
Green,
Blue,
Indigo and violet.
You feel at peace,
You realise that in the past up until now you were bothered by unwanted troublesome thoughts and fears and these thoughts and fears were preying on your mind and affected your emotional and physical wellbeing.
But all that is changing now because you have decided to change this.
You realise how much these thoughts and fears have affected you up until now during this wonderfully wanted and much longed for pregnancy.
It is time to eliminate these unwanted thoughts and fears once and for all.
Rest in the hillside garden you have created and notice what is around you.
You see something sparkling in the sun's rays,
You are curious to know what it is and you walk towards the glistening light.
As you get closer you see that it is a mirror but this is a magic mirror.
You look into the mirror and you see your reflection gazing back at you,
It is smiling at you.
Your reflection asks you to take some time to acknowledge the life that you have lived up until now,
Remembering the things you have learned,
The events you have experienced.
Your reflection tells you that this is the mirror of change,
Everything that is revealed to you in this mirror can change your perception of it.
The thoughts you have can change as you grow and your memories can change as you perceive things differently.
As you rewrite your history and as you look back differently on your past,
Your memories can change how you feel about your experiences and events.
Take some time now to talk to the mirror,
Telling your reflection how you feel,
The feelings of fear that you have,
The kind of experience that has been preventing you from looking forward to giving birth to your baby.
So you can let go of that fear.
While that feeling of fear may have been necessary at the time,
There is no need to hold on to that feeling any longer.
That experience is over and so you are free to let go of that fear now,
Erasing the unhelpful learning,
Releasing the old stories and experiences which no longer serve you,
Watching as those fears blow away.
Let those fears out,
Trust your instincts,
Let go of that stuff that blocked you,
That has held you back,
That has prevented you from enjoying this pregnancy and looking forward to the birth of your baby.
Take as much time as you need to reshape your memories of that experience,
To recreate your memory so that it no longer contains that unnecessary fear,
So that it no longer carries that fear,
So that you can move forward freely towards new positive memories that allow you to relax and enjoy this pregnancy and look forward to the birth of your baby.
Notice how your feelings have changed and evolved through this process.
Look at your reflection.
That beautiful reflection looks back at you.
The eyes are full of loving compassion.
She understands completely.
She tells you that you have a new internal story.
I trust my body and its capabilities.
I am aware of all the positive things in my life.
My baby's birth will be incredible no matter what form it takes.
When you are ready,
You can thank your reflection and feel the weight lifting from you as you prepare for a new start.
And know that you have already begun your life without fear.
Learning your life that allows you to look forward to your baby's birth with confidence and joy.
These suggestions are firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and grow stronger and stronger day by day.
They grow stronger by the day,
Stronger by the hour,
Stronger by the minute,
Stronger and stronger.
So now you begin to walk back down life's hillside through all of the wonderful plants,
Trees,
Flowers that you have helped grow.
And you know that you can return to the hillside garden anytime you want.
And that each time you do return,
Your inner being and your outer being will continue to embed firmly and securely the positive suggestions that you have heard today.
Growing stronger and stronger day by day.
Growing stronger and stronger hour by hour.
Growing stronger and stronger minute by minute as you look forward confidently and positively to the birth of your baby.
In a moment,
I'm going to count from one to five.
And at the count of five,
You will be wide awake,
Fully refreshed and alert and ready to allow these suggestions to work for you.
A resilience that something is fundamentally changed.
One,
Two,
Three,
Coming slowly back,
Four,
Eyelids beginning to flutter and five,
Eyes open,
Wide awake,
Mind and body returning to the room.
A brighter here and now.
