Begin disconnecting from the external world, Leaving behind the people you saw, Leaving the emotions and feelings you experienced to begin settling into the present time awareness, Allowing ourselves to anchor in the here and now, Allow your breathing to be natural, Releasing any tension in the face, Let the eyes gently fall to the back of your head, Relax your cheeks and jaw, Scanning the body downward, Relaxing your neck and shoulders, Notice how the chest and abdomen rise and fall with each inhale and exhale, I am completely relaxed, I am completely calm, I am at ease, As we sit here together, Your mind will begin to wander, Only returning when you redirect your attention onto the breath, Remember to treat your thinking mind with compassion and kindness, Of course the attention wanders, That is what the untrained mind does and has done your entire life, It takes a gentle yet persistent effort to return to the chosen object of awareness, I am completely relaxed, I am completely calm, I am at ease, Having anchored ourselves into the present moment, We have laid our head down, We have laid the foundation for our root chakra meditation, Draw your attention to the base of your spine, Where this energy center exists within our physical body, Imagine you are breathing in vibrant ruby red light as you focus on this point, Begin to see this energy center expand and grow with each in breath, Begin strengthening this energy center by offering yourself the following praises, With the intention to provide safety and security throughout your mind, Body, And soul, I am connected to mother earth and the entire universe, I am connected to all beings in existence, I am safe, I am secure, I am loved, I am connected to all beings, I am safe, I am loved, I am loved, I am loved, I am loved, I am loved, I am loved, I am loved, I amaved, I am loved, I am loved, I am loved, I am loved, I am loved, Allow the ruby red light to expand and grow larger, Stronger, Filling your entire body. I am connected to Mother Earth and the entire universe. I am connected to all beings in existence. Feel the body's response to each phrase. I am safe. I am secure. I am loved. As you repeat these phrases, Remember to focus on the root chakra at the base of your spine, Continuously expanding the ruby red light. Witness as it grows larger and begins to surround your entire body. Feel the sense of comfort and security. Relax into the safety and knowing that you are loved. Appreciate your connection to Mother Earth and the entire universe. Slowly repeating each phrase with this in mind. I experience balance and acceptance in my life. I experience compassion and empathy. I am exactly where I need to be. Begin to feel the divine illumination of the ruby red light. Feel as the universal energy pulsates throughout your entire body, Strengthening your connection to and understanding that you are laying the foundation for balance and strength. Begin to repeat silently to yourself. I am accepted. I am balanced. I am strong. I am safe. I am secure. I am loved. Begin to feel and see as this ruby red light begins to expand past your body and enters the space around you. With the most basic understanding that all beings wish to feel accepted, Secure, And safe. Begin to expand this field of energy from your root chakra. To those around you gradually expanding to include your town or city. Letting your intention include the entire world with balance, Safety, And security to all beings in existence. Those above and below, The seen and the unseen. Those being born and those who are dying. Offering them the following praises. May all beings connect with Mother Earth and the entire universe. May all beings experience acceptance and balance in their life. May all beings practice compassion. May all beings understand empathy. May all beings feel safe and secure. May all beings know they are loved. Simply let go of these phrases and feel the energy you have created for yourself and the world around you. Understand that each of us has the power to change. Each of us has the power to heal. And each of us has the power to love. And whenever you're ready, Allow your eyes to open and your attention to come back to your surroundings.
