
Create Your Day For Freedom Morning Practice
Start your morning by activating your energetic/light body and deeply connecting to yourself & your heart's desires through a prayama (breathwork) meditation. Using my signature framework you will be guided into creating your day for freedom.
Transcript
You will begin in a seated position.
If you are using a chair,
Make sure that your feet are flat on the floor and your back is unsupported.
If you are sitting on the floor,
Make sure you are in a comfortable seated position with a tall,
Strong spine and a soft,
Open heart.
Begin by closing down your eyes,
Closing your mouth,
Resting your hands on your knees,
Rolling the shoulders down and back as you begin inhaling through both nostrils and exhaling through both nostrils.
As you close down your eyes,
Using your breath as your guide,
You begin to enter your internal world,
The still center you create your day from.
Inhaling through both nostrils,
Exhaling through both nostrils,
Inhaling through both nostrils,
I am breathing in,
Exhale through both nostrils,
I am breathing out.
As you inhale,
Your belly fills with air,
Your rib cage expands,
The chest slightly lifts,
And as you exhale through both nostrils,
You feel your belly fall,
The rib cage collapse,
I am breathing out.
Breathing in both nostrils,
I am breathing in,
Breathing out both nostrils,
I am breathing out.
Noticing the cool air moving through both nostrils as you breathe in,
And as you breathe out,
The warm air leaves the body.
Take notice of how you are feeling in this moment,
Noticing any tension in the shoulders and neck,
Any tightness in the chest,
Any nervousness or sensations in the gut.
As you move down into the hips,
The root,
The seat in which you're seated,
Observing the thoughts that are flowing across the mind,
Is there any chatter?
What sensations are arising within your body?
Noticing the emotion,
The energy in motion arising within you.
Listening to my voice as I guide you into the breathwork practice,
Prakasya Pranayama,
Breath of Light.
Begin by inhaling in seven portions,
One little sip of breath at a time through both nostrils,
Holding the breath at the top,
And as you exhale,
Exhale,
Release the breath through both nostrils,
Holding at the bottom.
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Holding the breath at the top.
Exhale through both nostrils,
One fluid breath,
Exhale,
Release,
Holding at the bottom.
Begin inhaling in seven portions through both nostrils,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Fullist breath,
Holding at the top,
Stay here.
Exhale through both nostrils,
Releasing the breath,
Holding at the bottom.
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Deepest inhale,
Filling yourself all the way up here,
You notice the spine elongates,
The head lifts towards the sky,
Completely filled up,
Hold here.
Exhale,
Release the breath through both nostrils,
Holding at the bottom breath of light.
Begin moving at your own pace,
Finding your own rhythm,
Your own flow as you inhale in seven portions,
Holding at the top.
Exhale in one portion,
Holding at the bottom.
With every breath,
Breathing in this healing high frequency,
High vibrational medicine to exactly where it is needed today.
Completing two more rounds at your own pace,
Your own rhythm,
Visualizing the bright golden healing,
Activating an awakening light.
After this last round,
Finding yourself at the bottom of the exhale whenever you arrive here,
Holding the breath at the bottom.
Whenever you're ready,
Deeply inhaling,
Inhale through both nostrils,
Filling the belly with air,
The rib cage expands,
The chest lifts completely open here.
Hold at the top.
Open the mouth,
Exhale,
Release all of the air.
Two more times together as we inhale,
Deepest inhale all the way from the root,
All the way up the spine,
Hold the breath at the top.
Open the mouth,
Release all of the air,
Allow the air to fall out of your mouth,
Release from your lungs and dissolve from your body.
One last time together,
Deeply inhaling,
Holding the breath at the top.
Open the mouth,
Maybe this time you bring in some sound as you exhale,
Deep release.
Exhale,
Deep release.
Finding yourself back to the natural flow of your breath in and out of both nostrils,
Noticing it doesn't take much thought,
Any effort or your control for your breath to find itself back to its natural rhythm,
Guiding you back to your center,
Back to your current set point,
Homeostasis,
Your home.
Without thinking about it,
The breath returns to its natural rhythm in and out of the nose,
Allowing the jaw to soften,
The shoulders to relax,
As you find that you are now deeper connected to yourself,
To your life,
The powerful magical creator that you are.
What is your intention for today?
How do you desire to feel?
Joyful,
Adventurous,
Full of love.
What are you committed to?
No matter what life throws at you today,
No matter what is out of your control or doesn't go as planned,
What are you committed to above all?
What would you have to be committed to,
To fulfill on your intention,
On how you desire to experience your day today?
Because you are aware this moment and the next moment and the next moment make up your day.
This day today makes up your week and these collective weeks make up your month.
And these months,
Month after month,
Make up your year,
Which ultimately is your life.
This moment is your life.
Begin scanning your to-do's,
The tasks that are up ahead for you today.
Work?
Is it school?
Are there any appointments?
What on this list is in alignment with how you desire to feel today?
And after taking an inventory of your day,
What is not in alignment with how you desire to feel?
How you wish to move through life?
What is not in alignment with what you're committed to that can be let go of altogether from your schedule today?
Where can you ask for support?
How can you do this task differently where it would be more in alignment with how you desire to feel?
For this repetition,
This cultivated feeling from moment to moment becomes your experience of life.
This is exactly how you have the creative powers,
The responsibility,
And the ability to create your day for freedom.
As we close out this practice,
We end in gratitude,
Sharing prayers and blessings,
Starting with ourselves,
Expanding outward to our most intimate friends,
Family,
Loved ones,
And into our communities,
The state that we reside in,
Our nation,
And even our brothers and sisters around the world that we share this space,
This planet with.
As you bring your left hand to your heart and your right hand over that,
Ending your practice by naming three people,
Places,
Qualities,
Experiences that you are most grateful for.
And why?
Why are you grateful?
How does this gratitude feel in your body?
What can be acknowledged within yourself,
For yourself?
And as you have set clear intentions on exactly how you desire to feel,
Making the distinction of what you are ultimately committed to,
Your why,
Your driving force,
Checking in with your day to day actions,
And aligning your life to that in which you desire.
Locking in this practice with gratitude is the magic recipe needed to create any reality you say,
That you feel,
That you dream up,
All while meeting her,
The little you,
Right here where she is today.
This is where exactly who you are gets to meet who you are becoming.
On your next exhalation,
Lowering both hands back down to your knees,
Finding your breath,
Noticing how you feel,
Acknowledging what has changed what has shifted in your mind,
In your body,
In your heart.
Whenever you feel complete,
Opening the eyes as you inhale,
Taking a look around at this reality you just created from the inside out.
