This meditation guides you through a gentle practice of recalling your energy back to yourself, releasing any connections that no longer serve you. As you breathe deeply, you’ll become aware of the energy you've shared with others—throughout your day, week, or beyond—and lovingly draw it back to reconnect with your own center. Through visualization, you'll shed any remaining energetic cords, allowing yourself to feel whole, protected, and grounded in your own energy. Embrace a sense of renewal and set a powerful intention to carry only your energy as you move forward.

Take a moment to settle yourself.

Take a couple of deep breaths.

Close your eyes and come into the present moment.

Feel your body taking up space.

Feel your feet on the ground or tucked underneath you.

Allow your breathing.

And in your mind's eye,

Imagine all of the energy you've been putting out into the world.

This could be over the past day,

Week,

Or even longer.

You left it with your spouse or your children when you were taking care of their needs.

You left it with a person you argued with or whose comments rubbed you the wrong way.

You left it on social media or with the news outlets you've listened to.

You left it where you drove or shopped or wherever you were focused on other people.

See it out there.

See your energy floating around,

Disconnected from your body.

It might show up as blobs of energy you sense floating out in the world,

Or it might show up as energetic ropes or strings attached to you at your stomach or your solar plexus,

Your chest or anywhere else.

Just sense all of your energy out there in the world.

Now slowly,

Gently,

With gratitude and love,

Reach out and pull your energy back to you.

Gather it into yourself.

Bundle it into your arms.

Pull back those ropes or cords and feel it reconnect into your energetic body.

Take a few deep breaths in and out and allow your energy to assimilate with you.

Feel into your energetic body.

What do you notice?

Is the energy that's there all yours or do you feel any tugs of energy that doesn't belong to you?

Any additional ropes or cords that are connected to your loved ones or situations that are long over?

It may show up as a thought or a feeling or just an awareness.

Gently and again with the deepest of love,

Simply reach down and disconnect those energetic connections.

Imagine disposing of them in any way you choose.

Maybe you let them wash away in the ocean,

Bury them in the sand or under a tree or wrap them up in tissue paper and lovingly hand them back to wherever they belong.

Take a few moments to continue gently releasing these energetic connections and allow them to find their way back to their owners,

To their home.

They are not yours and you do not need to hold on to them any longer.

Simply breathe in and out as you continue to release any energy that is no longer yours.

And as you sit here,

Be aware of your energetic body.

You should feel more whole and assimilated with your own energy,

Less energetically scattered.

Imagine yourself in a beautiful white or golden bubble.

This bubble will protect your energy and keep you from being inadvertently connected to someone else's.

Imagine that if someone says or does something that upsets you,

The energy from their words or actions simply bounces off your beautiful protective bubble.

Take a couple of more deep breaths.

Repeat the following either out loud or in your mind.

With gratitude,

I recall my energy back to myself.

With love,

I unhook from the energy I have been holding that does not belong to me or no longer serves my highest good.

My energy is protected and is completely my own.

My energy is safe and is completely mine.

Imagine another deep breath and release it.

Come back into the present moment,

Opening your eyes and continuing on with your day,

Holding on to your energy and only your energy.
