Hello and welcome to this guided yoga nidra sleep meditation to help you fall in to a peaceful calm deep sleep.

I'll be taking you through a relaxation sequence where we focus on each different part of the body and then the whole body all together helping you to relax and release in to sleep.

Imagine you are next to a flowing river in the springtime,

The birds are calling,

The sun is shining and you are slowly sitting down on the grass next to the river and feeling quite sleepy.

You start to lie your body down on the grass and slowly you feel the heaviness in your limbs.

Now you are lying down fully on the grass,

You feel the softness of the grass beneath you tickling your skin,

You feel heaviness in your legs,

Arms,

Back,

Head,

Feet.

You feel yourself slowly slowly sinking into the grass,

You feel the Sun on your limbs,

You feel this delicious delightful warmth of the Sun tickling your skin as you slowly slowly drift off to sleep.

You feel your right foot heavy,

Your right leg heavy sinking into the grass,

Your right hip heavy sinking into the grass,

The right side of your core sinking into the grass,

Your right hand heavy slowly sinking deeper into the grass,

Your right wrist,

Your right forearm,

Right upper arm,

Right shoulder sinking into the grass.

You feel your whole right arm heavy and then you move into your left foot and feel your left foot heavy sinking into the grass,

You feel your whole left leg heavy sinking into the grass,

You feel your left hip sinking into the grass,

You feel the left side of your core,

Belly,

Chest,

Heart,

Lungs,

Left shoulder sinking into the grass.

You feel again this beautiful tickling touch of the Sun on your skin and then you feel your left hand slowly releasing,

Relaxing,

Sinking into the grass,

Your left wrist and your left forearm release,

Sinking into the grass,

Your left elbow,

Upper arm and your left shoulder release and relax and sink into the grass.

You move up into your neck,

You feel into the back of your neck,

The back of your head,

You feel your neck and head heavily slowly sinking deeper into the grass.

You take some long slow deep breaths,

Long slow inhale and a long slow exhale.

You release all worries from your day,

You release all tension from your body.

You take another long slow deep inhale and a long slow exhale and you feel your whole body all together sinking into the grass,

Into a deep easeful blissful sleep.

You now can't even remember that you're in this beautiful meadow next to a flowing river.

As you sleep,

Your mind will be in another dimension,

One that is beyond thinking,

Beyond planning,

Just a mind working on realizing your deepest dreams,

Assisting you to move closer to the person you want to be,

Assisting you move into a mind state where all your deepest dreams and goals are attainable and they're waiting for you.

Now enjoy this deep peaceful relaxing sleep for as long as your body needs it.
