Has it ever happened to you that during the day your energy gets a little activated and you just want to scream?
So.
.
.
What can we do about that without creating too much of a fuss?
I'm going to share with you some some insights that I've found to be very powerful and they're actually drawn from nature.
Now you'll notice in nature when a deer is being chased by the lion and manages to escape.
It will stop and it will shake.
It will shake the adrenaline and the tension out of its body and then.
.
.
Move back into a place of relaxed alertness.
And continue with its day.
So try this with me.
It's simply,
Whenever you feel that you've been chased by a lion,
You're feeling stressed or overwhelmed and there's tension in your body,
Your mind can't think clearly.
All that stuff.
You need to take a break.
Find somewhere where even,
Well,
If you're brave enough,
To share this with your colleagues in the office,
That would be even better.
Let's just have a shake together,
Guys.
And that can work as well.
In a more formal environment,
You can find a quiet space where you plant your feet in the ground so that you feel connected with the ground like a tree rooted.
So you're drawing energy from the earth.
Even if you're in a high rise,
It's the intention that's important.
I'm grounded.
Relax the body and then just allow the shaking.
You're just like,
Whoa,
Like this.
Relax the jaw.
Yeah,
Because we tend to hold a lot of tension in the jaw and that can be.
.
.
Something you might want to sound out.
If you can sound it,
Do some gibberish and allow the shaking.
What I love is that feeling of energy flowing along that spine.
Flowing a shiver up your spine,
Like somebody's walking over your grave as the expression goes.
But shake it all out,
Like the deer,
For as long as your body feels in need.
And you will very quickly feel a relaxation flowing into your body.
You become more aware,
More present in the body.
As you do that,
Your breathing becomes more steady.
When your breathing becomes more steady your sympathetic nervous system calms down.
The adrenaline starts to reduce.
And the heart then starts to be in rhythm with the breath.
So there's this coherence,
This dance of heart and mind.
And that helps to clear the mind and to reduce the anxiety and to move back into a place of calm.
You're now safe from the tiger,
From the lion.
And you can then move back into your environment with some clarity and ease and flow.
Before you do that,
Setting an intention.
To move back into the environment.
Ease,
Calm,
Clarity,
Peace.
And when you're ready,
Take that step.
And you'll know you're ready because you'll just have a feeling in your body that,
Okay,
I'm in a good place.
Trust your feeling.
Very important.
The mind's very good at interfering with conditions and hijacking what is really going on in your heart.
We are heart-centered beings.
Trust your intuition.
Go with the flow of what feels good.
And allow your inner guide to bring you to the right place in the right state at the right time.
Beautiful.
So much more where all this came from.
Enjoy.
Have a wonderful day.
Namaste.
