Meeting your guardian angel meditation.
Close your eyes and pay attention to your breathing.
Breathing in and out deeply three times.
Each time just letting go more and more and more.
Imagine you're walking along a quiet lane,
Just gently wandering along,
Enjoying your peaceful time.
You come across a gate that opens into a lovely lush green meadow full of wildflowers.
As you walk into the meadow you follow the path up over a slight incline.
As you're walking along you can see all the beautiful wildflowers with their pretty colours.
Yellow buttercups,
Pretty moon daisies and poppies all dancing gently in the warm breeze.
There's a beautiful butterfly fluttering from flower to flower.
Look around you.
Know you are safe and enjoying everything you're experiencing.
What can you smell?
How does a long grass feel against your legs?
What about the ground under your feet?
Notice the birds flying around you,
Swooping and landing in the nearby trees,
Singing their happy song.
As you follow the path down to the other side of the meadow there is another gate and you can hear the buzz of a bumblebee as you walk through the gate.
Once on the other side you take off your shoes and your socks as you're on soft sand and you walk down through the sand dunes feeling the sand between your toes.
It feels warm and you can feel the sun caressing your back.
You feel happy and content.
You wander onto the beach and walk towards the sea.
There are seagulls flying about overhead and as you reach the shore the water laps over your feet.
You decide to head along the shore making footprints in the sand.
As you walk along enjoy this special space.
You're totally relaxed,
Happy and content.
Then you notice a little alcove so you follow the path up to it and there is a bench where you can sit looking out to the crystal clear sea that is shimmering in the sunlight like beautiful crystals.
Here you ask your guardian angel to join you.
You may just feel him or you may see him.
You may feel a warmth or a tingle.
You feel safe,
Protected,
Totally understood,
Cared for and loved unconditionally.
If you feel able ask him his name and take the first name that comes to mind.

Thank him for allowing you to meet him.
You will meet again soon.
You walk along the path to the shore.
Then you walk along the shore and back up the beach.
Over the sand dunes where you put back on your shoes and your socks.
Back through the gate and up the meadow to the other gate.
And here you're back into the lane safely where you started.
When you feel ready you can open your eyes and come back into your room fully awake.
