Welcome to this healing light visualization meditation.

Today we will focus on visualizing a powerful healing light that will help to restore balance and peace to your mind,

Body and spirit.

Begin by finding a comfortable position either sitting or lying down.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs completely.

Hold for a moment and then exhale slowly through your mouth.

Allow yourself to fully arrive in this moment,

Leaving behind the stresses and distractions of the day.

Let's start by tuning into our breath.

Notice the natural rhythm of your breathing without trying to change it.

Feel the cool air as it enters your nostrils,

Flow into your lungs and then leaves your body warm and soothing.

With each inhale,

Imagine drawing in calm,

Peaceful energy.

With each exhale,

Release any tension or stress you may be carrying.

Allow your breath to guide you into a state of relaxation and openness.

We will now take a moment to relax our bodies.

Staring at the top of your head,

Bring your awareness to your scalp.

Notice any area of tension and with your next exhale,

Imagine the tension melting away.

Slowly move your attention down to your forehead,

Your eyes,

Your cheek and your jaw.

Allow each area to soften and relax.

Bring your awareness to your neck and shoulders.

With each exhale,

Let them drop and release any tightness.

Move down to your arms,

Hands and fingers,

Feeling them becoming heavy and relaxed.

Now,

Focus on your chest and belly.

Notice the rise and fall of your breath and with each exhale,

Let go of any tightness or discomfort.

Finally,

Bring your awareness to your legs,

Feet and toes.

Feel the ground beneath you and allow yourself to feel supported,

Stable and relaxed.

Now that your body is relaxed,

Let's begin the healing light visualization.

Imagine a soft glowing light just above your head.

This light can be any color that feels right to you,

A warm golden light,

A calming blue,

A nurturing green or any other color that resonates with you.

This light is filled with healing energy,

Ready to restore and rejuvenate every part of your being.

With your next inhale,

Imagine this light beginning to flow down into the top of your head.

Feel it entering your body,

Bring with it a sense of peace and healing.

As the light flows through your body,

It begins to cleanse and heal every cell,

Every muscle,

Every organ.

Visualize the light moving down to your forehead,

Your eyes and your face,

Soothing any tension or discomfort.

Allow it to continue flowing down into your neck and shoulders,

Releasing any tightness and filling you with calm.

See the light moving down through your arms,

Into your hands and fingers,

Filling them with warmth and vitality.

With each breath,

This healing light continues to flow through your body,

Down into your chest and belly,

Bringing a sense of balance and harmony to all of your internal organs.

Now,

Feel the light flowing down into your legs,

Your feet and your toes,

Grounding you in a sense of stability and peace.

Your entire body is now filled with this healing light,

Glowing softly,

Radiating warmth and health.

Take a moment to bask in this healing energy.

Imagine the light continue to work,

Restoring balance and harmony to every part of you.

Feel its gentle warmth,

Its nourishing presence and allow yourself to receive its healing gifts.

As you continue to bathe in this healing light,

Let's reinforce this experience with some positive affirmations.

You can repeat this silently in your mind or aloud if you prefer.

I am surrounded by healing light.

I am whole,

Healthy and complete.

Every cell in my body is filled with light and health.

I release all that no longer serves me.

I am at peace with my body,

Mind and spirit.

Feel the truth of this affirmation resonating with you as the healing light continues to flow through your body.

We will now spend a few moments in silence,

Allowing this healing light to continue its work.

Simply be present with your breath,

The sensation in your body and the light within you.

If your mind begins to wander,

Gently bring it back to the visualization of the healing light.

As we begin to close this meditation,

Take a few deep breaths.

Start to bring your awareness back to your surroundings.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

Gently reawakening your body.

Know that this healing light is always within you and you can return to it whenever you need to restore balance and peace.

When you are ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Take a moment to notice how you feel calm,

Centered and filled with light.
