Welcome to this meditation.
Today we will allow ourselves to take a small pause.
A small pause from the digital world,
From screens,
From notifications,
And from the endless flow of information.
Just for a few minutes.
The world can wait and your attention now can gently return to you.
Find a comfortable position.
You may sit or lie down.
Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow deep breath in and a soft breath out.
Another calm breath in and a long breath out.
Allowing the body to relax a little more.
Let your breathing gradually become more natural.
There is no need to control it.
Simply observe how the air flows in and flows out.
Notice how the chest rises with each inhale and softly falls with each exhale.
If your thoughts begin to return to your phone,
To messages,
To the news,
Or to tasks,
Simply notice that and gently bring your attention back to the breath.
Now imagine that somewhere in a quiet garden there is a small flower.
This garden is your inner space,
A place where notifications cannot reach,
Where there is no noise,
No rush,
Only calm.
Look at this flower.
For now its petals are slightly closed,
As if it has become a little tired.
From the many signals coming from the outside world,
From the light of screens,
From the constant movement of information.
But the flower is alive and it has everything it needs to fill itself with energy again.
With each breath in a soft light begins to reach the flower.
Imagine that this light arrives together with the air.
It is warm,
Calm,
Alive.
With each breath out the flower releases the tension it has collected.
Noise,
Restlessness,
Unnecessary thoughts.
Continue breathing calmly and observe how the flower slowly begins to come alive.
First one petal very slowly begins to open,
Then another and a third.
There is no need to rush this process,
The flower knows its own rhythm,
Just like you do.
I will leave you for a moment to observe the flower quietly on your own.
This minute with yourself can allow a sense of inner balance to gently appear.
You may begin to notice that inside things feel a little quieter.
Your thoughts are no longer moving so quickly.
Your attention gently returns to the present moment,
To the breath,
To the body.
To this quiet garden.
With every breath in the flower grows stronger.
Its stem fills with life.
The petals become soft and open wider.
Imagine that each petal represents a part of your attention.
When we constantly look at screens,
Our attention can begin to close.
But now it slowly begins to open again.
With each breath the soft light spreads through your body,
Through the chest,
Through the shoulders,
Through the arms.
It fills your face with calm.
Your eyes rest.
Your mind becomes clearer.
Now the flower opens even more.
The petals turn toward the light.
And in the very center of the flower a soft warm glow appears.
This is your energy of attention.
Pure.
Calm.
You do not need to give it to the whole world all at once.
You can choose where your attention goes.
Sometimes it is helpful to be in the digital world.
It connects us,
Helps us learn new things,
And stay in touch.
But your inner voice is not the only thing that connects us.
The inner flower also needs silence,
Space,
And moments when you simply exist in your own life.
Look once more at the flower.
Now it is fully open.
The petals move softly.
As if they are breathing with you.
It is filled with light.
With calm and with living energy.
Remember this feeling.
Because this flower always exists inside you.
You can return to it at any moment.
Even in the middle of a busy day.
All it takes is one conscious breath.
And take one more deep breath in.
Feel the air filling you with freshness.
And slowly breathe out.
Allow your body to feel the support beneath you.
Notice your hands,
Your legs,
The surface that holds you.
The flower remains inside you.
Calm,
Open,
Filled with light.
And when you pick up your phone again,
You may do so from a clearer state.
Not from hurry,
But from choice.
Take one more gentle breath in.
And a calm breath out.
And when you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Returning to your day with this quiet,
Open flower of attention within you.
