Sit in a comfortable position,
Or you may stand in a grounded pose,
Gently bringing air into your lungs in through your nose,
Releasing your jaw and out through your mouth.
Feeling a bit of a hum to your breath,
Vocalizing your exhale.
Begin to breathe that sound down into your feet,
Extending into the roots of the earth that hold your truth.
Feeling the sound traveling down,
Noticing its confident quality,
Perhaps in its cadence,
Its pitch,
A deep hum that knows its truth.
Now as you continue to inhale conviction.
Exhale truth.
Notice the purity of the air around you.
Let it muffle you suffocate you.
It expands,
Allowing your inner voice to be held in the expanse of the atmosphere.
The air around you,
Like the dry heat of Palestine's desert expands further than your eye can see.
When you speak your truth.
The air around you listens holds it and expands further than you can see.
Breathing it in and out,
Bringing deeper breath into your diaphragm,
Your gut,
Which is often where your inner knowing stores the truth,
Like a safe,
Knowing it must be protected.
And sometimes we lock the truth out of fear of silencing,
Or a threat to our truth.
This can show up as attention in the stomach.
So as you breathe deeper.
Notice if there are parts of your abdomen that are holding tension.
Notice the parts of you that have silenced yourself.
Notice these parts.
Pay attention to the sensations of silencing yourself.
Does it feel like a clenching a sharpness adult pain you dismiss.
Even silencing your own pain.
See if you can give yourself permission to use the key to set those parts free.
Setting your truth free.
Notice how the parts of you that have silenced yourself release when you set them free.
Breathing in truth.
Exhaling conviction.
Take a moment to notice what these parts may look like when they are set free and allow them to expand out of your body.
Do they have wings.
Do they transform and change like a butterfly.
Do they make a sound.
Do they sing songs of freedom.
Just take a minute to notice these parts,
And how they change when you unlock the key to your truth.
When you give yourself permission to unsilence yourself.
Continue to breathe in and out,
Continuing to bring in a deep hum.
If you wish,
And allow those liberated parts to fly into your heart,
Bringing your hands to your heart.
One over the other.
Like the wings of a bird.
Taking a few deep breaths here knowing your truth is always there for you to access.
When you're ready,
Gently softening and opening your eyes to reorient to the space around you.
