Welcome to your heart centering meditation.

Let's begin by lying or sitting in a comfortable position with the spine straight,

The neck and shoulders relaxed.

You may wish to close your eyes or have a soft gaze.

Consciously relax the muscles of your face.

Relaxing the eyes,

Relaxing the jaw.

Then tuning into the breath,

The natural,

Easeful breath.

Realizing the quality of the breath and the rhythm.

Following each breath in and each breath out.

No need for effort here.

Begin to tune into the beat of your heart.

Noticing its natural rhythm.

Noticing the breath and the heartbeat.

And the synchronicity of these two beautiful things within us.

Going deeper.

Can you hear the sound of your own heartbeat?

And if you can't,

It's okay.

Begin to imagine the sound of your heartbeat.

Noticing what it has to say to you.

Opening up to the heart's wisdom.

Opening up to what the heart desires.

The wise heart.

Taking a few more moments.

Be with the rhythm.

Be with the sound.

Be with the rhythm.

Stay with your breath.

Stay with the rhythm of your heart.

What does it have to say?

Now begin to slowly bring the breath in to the body more deeply.

Feeling the belly.

Feeling the chest.

Notice if there's any last words of wisdom coming from your heart.

As you slowly begin to come out.

Taking your time.

You may want to wiggle the fingers and toes.

Make some small movements.

Bringing your hands to your heart.

Placing one or both palms right over the heart.

Feeling it beat.

Offering it thanks for its wisdom.

As you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Thank you for practicing with me.

Have a beautiful day.

Namaste.
