Have you ever felt like flying high above your bed?

Your house?

The trees and the clouds?

Just like a bird?

In your mind you can fly too.

Close your eyes and get your body nice and comfortable.

Let all the worries of the day drift down your arms and out your fingertips.

Let all the wriggles travel down your legs and out your toes.

Now,

Slowly take a gentle breath in and fill your tummy with air just like a balloon.

Then slowly release all of that air out through your mouth.

Now try that again two more times.

Imagine you are a bird.

Imagine the colour of your feathers.

Are you a large bird like an eagle?

Or small like a sparrow?

You are sitting on a white gate in a beautiful garden filled with flowers.

The sun is warm on your back and you are ready for an adventure in the sky.

You stretch out your wings and feel the warm breeze float underneath you.

You flap your wings and with a little jump you are off into the air.

As your wings move you climb higher and higher into the air,

Flying over gardens,

Rooftops and chimneys.

You glide through the sky towards the bright yellow sun.

You close your eyes and feel the wind move under your wings.

Now you can fly wherever you want to go.

You feel the wind go anything along your way but it can go anywhere.
