This guided self-reiki meditation is intended to balance and charge your chakras.
To begin this meditation,
Settle into a comfortable position,
Be it sitting or lying down.
Take three deep belly breaths to ground yourself,
Breathing in through your nose,
Feeling your stomach rise and fill with air,
And then exhaling through your mouth.
Let's begin.
Breathe in through your nose and hold it,
Allowing all of the tension in your body to gather into that breath.
As you exhale through your mouth,
Let it all go.
The breath,
The tension.
Let it all go and feel your body releasing.
Take another deep breath all the way down into your belly and hold that breath.
This time as you exhale,
Let go of any fear,
Uncertainty,
Or doubt.
And take a third deep breath,
Feel yourself becoming aware of the subtle energy that is always inside you.
And as you exhale,
Release any expectations of this meditation and allow yourself to simply be present in this moment.
As we move through this guided self-reiki chakra balancing meditation,
We will be placing our hands on each chakra for about 45 seconds,
Enough time for three to four deep belly breaths.
As you breathe in and out,
Feel a brilliant white energy flowing through you,
In through the top of your head,
Down through your body,
To the ends of your toes and the tips of your fingers and back again.
Feel cleansed and energized as this white light flows through you.
Feel also a warm golden energy flowing through you,
Up from the center of the earth,
In through your feet,
Up through your body to the tips of your fingers and the crown of your head and back again.
Feel grounded and at peace as this golden energy flows through you.
Now,
Place both your hands over your root chakra,
Palms down and resting on your hip bones,
Fingers touching in the center above your pubic bone.
This is the Muladhara chakra,
Which means origin or root,
And it relates to our sense of security.
This position helps you ground your energy and trust in life.
Repeat the mantra,
I am safe,
As you feel energy traveling through your hands and into your red root chakra.

Move your hands up a few inches and position them over your sacral chakra.
Your hands should be on your stomach,
Just below your waist,
With your fingers touching in the center at your belly button.

Which means the place of the self,
And it's all about your creativity and pleasure,

Place your hands there now.
Feel yourself energized and recharged.
Feel the energy flowing in and through you,
From the top of your head all the way down your spine and continuing throughout your body to the tips of your fingers and the ends of your toes.
Finally,
Take a deep belly breath and allow yourself to return your focus to the physical world around you.
Breathing in through your nose,
Feeling your stomach rising and filling with your breath and exhaling through your mouth.
