Iced River
by Artem Krykun
The sound of an iced river is both hushed and alive. Beneath the frozen surface, water murmurs in muffled currents, pressing and shifting against the ice like a distant, secret conversation. Cracks echo sharply across the silence, splintering the stillness with sudden, glass-like tones, while the surface itself creaks and groans in deep, resonant waves that seem to travel through the air and ground alike. It is a landscape of sound stretched between silence and hidden motion.
