There's a spiritual philosophy that says that ships don't sink because of the water around them.
Ships sink because of water that gets in them.
So don't let what's happening around you get inside of you.
The external circumstance is independent of what you're choosing to create for yourself and how you choose to define your life.
The circumstances don't determine who you are.
You do.
The way you handle the circumstances is a reflection of who you are.
But it still doesn't define you.
It's only one moment in time.
So don't allow your ship to sink because of the energy that you're holding on inside.
Instead,
Allow yourself to float on easily,
Effortlessly,
Knowing that even in the midst of the storm there's the opportunity and possibility to find calm and balance in this breath in this moment.
As you realize the storm is not constant.
It's just a temporary circumstance.
So don't allow what's happening externally to weigh you down on the inside,
Realizing that if you wind up allowing everything outside to accumulate inside,
Eventually you'll sink.
Float on and keep moving in the direction you want your life to go.
Easy and effortlessly,
Letting go of the things that don't serve you and only holding on to the things that keep you afloat.
Blessings,
Blessings,
Blessings.
