Light does not begin at the end of the tunnel.

The source for the light lies within.

We're encouraged to focus on the light at the end of the tunnel,

As though that light is supposed to encourage us to keep going until we reach it.

But that implies that the light has a source outside of us,

That the source for the light is actually at the end of the tunnel.

But if the source for the light was at the end of the tunnel,

We would never see as clearly.

We might even be blinded by the light.

But the fact that we can see the light at the end of the tunnel must mean that the source of the light starts in here.

Stop focusing on the light at the end of the tunnel.

Realize that you are the light illuminating the path ahead.

The light at the end of the tunnel might be a marker for the destination,

But the light illuminating the path to get there,

That source lies within.

Spend less time focusing on the light at the end of the tunnel,

And spend more time shining brightly from within.

Blessings,

Blessings,

Blessings.

Spoken Word Yoga.

Namaste.
