How many times has fear held you back?
Held you back from trying something new,
From taking a risk,
From pursuing your dreams and aspirations?
This guided meditation will help you to identify the fears that may be holding you back so you can release the grip it has over you,
Reclaim your power and pursue that which is intended for you.
Fear is a universal natural human emotion,
A survival instinct triggered by uncertainty or the possibility of failure.
But when fear stops you from pursuing,
Accomplishing,
Achieving,
Becoming,
It actually works against you.
One way fear presents itself is through self-doubt.
Fear can make you doubt your skills,
Abilities,
Certain that you will fail in your efforts.
It can create narratives that keep you from moving forward,
Trapping you in a loop of what-if-isms.
What if I don't have the skills?
What if no one supports my business?
What if I fail?
And worse,
It can have you count yourself out before you even try.
It's time to release the grip fear has on you so that you can pursue your dreams and aspirations and step into the fullness of who you truly are and are intended to be.
So,
Settle in to a comfortable and supportive position,
Be that lying down or seated.
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze and begin to connect with your breath.
Notice the rhythm of your breath,
The gentle rise,
Fall of your chest with each inhale and exhale.
Don't try to change it,
Just notice it,
The body breathing you.
Allow your body to soften and to release.
Thoughts will rise,
The mind will wander.
That's okay.
When it does,
Simply notice without judgment or engagement and then return to observing your breath.
In and out,
Rising,
Falling,
Inhaling,
Exhaling.
Bring to mind a dream or aspiration that you've been holding,
Longing for,
Desiring,
But have not pursued because fear has held you back.
A travel adventure you've been dreaming of taking,
A business or new venture you've been wanting to start or pursue.
A life change you've been longing to make.
Visualize yourself actually achieving that desire,
Living out your dream.
See yourself,
Picture yourself in that place,
In that space.
Fully arrived,
Be as clear and detailed as you can.
Colors,
Sounds.
Allow yourself to be fully anchored in this visualization,
Bringing it to life in your mind's eye.
Zoom in on your facial expression.
Are you smiling,
Laughing,
Or perhaps just in a state of wonder and awe of what lies before you?
Engage your senses.
What do you see?
What do you smell?
What are the sounds around you?
What do you hear?
Is there something you taste or that you can touch and feel?
What does your heart feel?
Is it joy,
Excitement,
Pride,
An overwhelming sense of accomplishment?
Allow yourself to be fully present,
Experiencing all of it,
Witnessing.
As you continue to be in this moment,
In this experience,
You notice something is in your hand.
It's a small folded piece of paper.
Notice the color of the paper.
Feel the texture,
The texture of the paper.
You begin to unfold it.
It's a note in your handwriting.
And it reads,
Thank you for being brave enough to take that first step.
It was truly worth it.
With the paper in your hand,
You place it towards your heart center.
A smile emerges from within,
Filling and expanding across your entire chest,
Reaching up towards your face,
Radiant and joyful,
Filled with gratitude,
Knowing that you followed your heart,
Not allowing fear to hold you back.
Beautiful soul,
