So I want to invite you to find a comfortable seat so that you can tune in to this short meditation.
And we're going to begin by taking some deep breaths in through the nose as you fill the belly with air.
Then we exhale as we release the air from our nose,
Pulling the belly back in towards the spine.
And I want you to continue that breath throughout the duration of our meditation.
I want yourself to become more and more relaxed after every exhale.
And the first affirmation that we're going to focus on is I release the need of approval from others.

Sometimes we live in a world where we feel that we have to protect,

And defend ourselves.
I want to invite you right now to release that notion.

Begin to bring gentle movement to your fingertips and your toes as you bring awareness back to your body.
Open your breath again,
Bringing awareness slowly back to the space.
Slowly blinking your eyes to open your eyes fully.
