And begin by bringing awareness to your breath.
Slow inhale through the nose.
And a soft exhale out through the mouth.
Again,
Breathe in deeply.
And releasing out slowly.
Feel the warm air drawing in through your nose.
Filling your body.
And then slowly let it go.
Empty completely.
Feel the warmth surrounding you.
The steady embrace of the heat touching your skin.
Feel the warmth gently wrapping around your muscles.
Or joints.
Enveloping your entire body.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to arrive more fully into this present moment.
Observe the sensation.
Perhaps it feels intense at moments.
Maybe your body wants to resist it.
Simply observe.
Noticing any discomfort you may be experiencing.
And keep returning back to your breath.
Back to this moment.
Practicing the art of simply being in moment-to-moment awareness.
This practice is not about escaping discomfort.
It is about learning to be still.
To get comfortable with the uncomfortable.
Learning to breathe through it.
To soften into it.
You trust yourself through the power of transformation.
Take a slow,
Deep inhale.
And exhale gently.
As the sauna warms the body.
Circulation begins to increase.
Blood flows.
Moving more freely through you.
Nourishing the tissues.
Supporting the muscles.
Healing on a deep level.
Feel your body working for you.
Feel the intelligence of healing within you activating.
Pause here and be with your breath.
Inhaling deeply.
Exhaling slowly.
With every bead of sweat forming upon the skin.
Imagine your body releasing what it no longer needs.
Releasing toxins.
Releasing heaviness.
Perhaps something you've been holding on to that no longer serves you.
Releasing any stagnant energy.
The body knows how to cleanse itself.
The body knows how to restore balance.
You do not need to force anything.
Simply breathe.
And receive this purification process.
And one sensation starts to pull you out of present moment,
Just keep simply returning back to your breath.
And letting your breath guide you back home to your body.
If it feels good,
You can draw the inhale through your nose.
And let it gently escape out of your mouth.
Like you're blowing out a candle.
Inhale.
Exhale let some heat dissipate out Inhale.
Releasing,
Exhale.
Slow inhale through the nose.
Releasing,
Exhale out of the mouth.
Many moments in life may bring us challenges.
That will feel uncomfortable.
Moments we wish would pass more quickly.
Moments we have the urge to try to escape.
But here.
You are practicing something sacred.
You are practicing mindfulness.
Remaining present.
Even when sensations intensify.
Remaining steady.
Staying connected to your breath.
To anchor you.
In the here and now.
Notice what happens when you stop resisting discomfort.
Notice how the body begins to adapt.
How the mind becomes quieter.
How strength begins to emerge from surrender.
As the heat rises around you.
Imagine it dissolving tension.
Held deep within your muscles.
Tension you may not even realize that you've been carrying.
The jaw softens.
The neck releases.
Feel yourself letting go.
Layer.
By layer.
Feel the warmth travel.
Across your forehead.
Your cheeks.
Your shoulders dropping in.
Softening.
Let that warmth travel down your arm.
Into your hands.
Across your chest.
Down the torso.
Into your legs.
And feet.
This warmth inviting you inward.
Into stillness,
Into awareness.
Into presence.
Consciously breathing.
Your body is supporting you.
The natural rhythms.
And natural detoxification.
Sweat releasing impurities through the skin.
Heat,
Stimulating,
Circulation,
And renewal.
The nervous system gradually softening.
Into relaxation.
Imagine every exhale.
Carrying away stress.
Carrying away any mental clutter.
Carrying away emotional happiness.
And with every inhale.
Invite clarity.
Peace.
And vitality.

There are many moments in life.
Where we feel the intensity rise.
Yet when we breathe through it.

We often discover strength we did not know we carried.
You are stronger than discomfort.
You are more than the temporary sensations you are feeling in your body.
Capable of remaining calm within the challenge that this may present.
And you may notice the more often you do this.
The easier it becomes.
Continue to focus awareness on your breath.
And bodily sensations.
Feel gratitude now for this body.
This incredible body.
That supports you each and every day.
Our body has natural intuition.
Naturally healing itself.
Our body has a natural capacity to protect itself.
Your body is continually working toward balance and restoration.
Send a deep appreciation into your heart.
And breath into your lungs filling up.
Give thanks for your skin's protection.
Into every cell.
Being nourished.
By circulation and warmth in this moment.
Know that the heat penetrating deeply into the muscles and tissues.
Is bringing renewal and vitality throughout your whole body.
Be witness to your experience.
Residing in this moment.
Feeling your breath.
Welcoming sensations.
Know that this practice.
This cleansing.
Purifying and renewing you on the deepest level.
Now,
If it feels comfortable to do so from a seated position,
Let's begin to welcome gentle movement.
Into your shoulders.
Slowly rolling them up down and around your back.
And as you move.
Feel that gentle release.
And letting any tension go.
Any tightness.
Any stress you've been holding on to.
Just roll off your back.
Now begin to relax your shoulders down.
You can add in a few neck rolls or shift your head left and right to loosen anything up.
As we begin to slowly close this meditation.
Remain connected to your breath.
And this feeling of presence.
Let's take these final few breaths together to conclude our sauna healing experience.
Inhale slowly.
Exhale it out.
Deep inhale.
Extended exhales.
Maybe the next breath.
You let it escape out of the mouth a few times.
A gentle sigh of relief.
Notice how your body feels now compared to when you first arrived.
Perhaps softer.
Perhaps quieter.
Lighter.
Refresh.
Alive.
Invigorated.
Take another deep conscious breath in.
And slowly let it go.
Allow yourself to carry this stillness with you beyond this moment.
Into whatever may come next.
May this experience be a gentle reminder that even among the challenge or discomfort you can return to your breath time and time again.
You can return to presence.
Return back home to yourself.
