Find a comfortable position in a place where you won't be disturbed.
You can choose to sit or lay down,
Anything that makes you comfortable.
Take a few deep breaths,
And when you feel settled in your body,
Allow your eyes to gently close.
Now breathe naturally,
Allowing any thoughts to fade away,
And take a moment to imagine yourself being more calm,
Peaceful,
And focused.
And as you allow your unconscious mind to naturally create an image of what that would feel like,
Notice what you might be seeing,
Notice what might be hearing,
And what you might be feeling,
That shows you are more calm,
Peaceful,
And focused,
And possibly you're already feeling more calm,
More peaceful,
And focused.
If not,
Just bring your attention back to your calming breath,
Noticing how relaxed you are.
Now think a simple way to incorporate this feeling of calm into your life in the days and weeks ahead.
And after you have done that,
Know that it can really be this easy to create a little more peace and calm in your life.
You can always come back to your breathing to find calm again.
Now take a deep breath in,
And as you breathe in,
Begin to bring your attention back to your body,
Feeling the ground underneath you,
Listening to the sounds around you,
And when you are ready,
You can open your eyes.
