Welcome to this session for removing resistance to loving yourself.
So begin by getting yourself really comfortable,
Either sitting or lying down.
And as before,
Make any adjustments you need to make to be completely comfortable.
Feel free to be as indulgent as you like about this,
Really take care of yourself as you prepare for this meditation.
Setting yourself up for the most enjoyable experience possible.
And when you find your most comfortable position,
Allow yourself to sink into it.
Let the weight sink to the back of your body.
Feel yourself being completely supported by whatever surface you're sitting or lying on.
Feel it molding to every curve of your body.
And take a big breath in.
Sigh it away,
Feel yourself releasing,
Softening,
Letting go.
One more time,
Breathing in.
Big breath and big sigh,
Let it go completely,
Let the body go.
The breath settled to a natural rhythm.
Have a gentle awareness of that rise and fall.
It happens all by itself.
And perhaps you might even feel a moment of appreciation for your brilliant body and the way that it looks after you effortlessly.
Allowing you to be here today.
Just resting.
Breathing.
Healing.
As you continue to drift deeper into a beautifully relaxed state.
Start to become aware not just of the surface that you're sitting or lying on,
But also the surface beneath that.
The ground.
The foundations of the building.
The Earth.
Beneath those foundations.
Without pushing or forcing,
Start to send your breath down through your body.
Down through the layers of the surface beneath you.
Down through the earth.
Connecting deep down.
Into the richness of the soil beneath you.
Beginning to sense and feel the support of the Earth.
And as you gently draw your breath in,
Feel that you're drawing that breath up from the earth.
Bringing with the breath all that richness.
That warmth.
Loving,
Supportive energy.
And drawing it deep into the centre of you.
Begin to feel yourself rooted.
Grounded?
And deeply supported.
And at the same time,
I'd like you to imagine or sense and feel a beautiful light energy above you.
All around you.
And when you draw the breath in,
You're also breathing in a beautiful beaming light right into your center.
That mingles with that Earth energy.
So that you feel yourself supported on all sides.
And you can allow that breath to take you deeper now.
Deeper into your inner world.
And as you feel your inner world opening up,
Return to your meadow.
Your circle.
Feel the wonderful loving support of all of the past and future versions of you gathered here in this moment.
Witnessing you,
Loving you,
Supporting you,
And so grateful for you.
Hear their words of encouragement now.
Place your hands very lightly over your heart.
And repeat these loving words of encouragement to yourself out loud or in your mind.
I love myself for showing up today.
I love myself for always being here for myself.
I love my beautiful body.
Notice any uncomfortable feelings that might be triggered by this affirmation or any of these affirmations.
Don't fight it,
Allow those feelings to come.
Allow them to be felt.
And then wherever you experience that feeling.
Take your breath to that place.
Simply breathe all of that loving supportive energy into that space.
So that it softens,
Loosens.
Opens up.
Keep breathing.
And keep going.
I'm so grateful for my body.
I'm so grateful for my body's ability to heal.
I love my body for all that it allows me to do.
I love and honor my body's wisdom and intuition.
I love my unique beauty.
I love my strength.
My body is a gift and I love and cherish it.
I love my body exactly as it is today.
Keep breathing.
All those loving,
Supportive energies.
Noting any resistance.
And allowing it to soften.
I love my scars,
My flaws and my imperfections because they make me uniquely myself.
And now that you've expressed love for your physical being.
Let's go deeper.
I love myself for my wisdom and intuition.
I love myself for my strength and resilience.
I love myself for learning and growing from experience.
I love myself for my generous,
Loving heart.
I love myself for my integrity.
I love myself for my patience,
My kindness and my compassion.
I love myself for all my talents and abilities.
Keep breathing.
Keep allowing yourself to be supported.
I love myself for all my flaws and imperfections.
I love my ability to feel joy and happiness.
I love my ability to feel peace and calm.
I love my ability to feel anger and sadness.
I love all my emotions and I love my ability to feel them all.
I love myself for all my accomplishments,
Big and small.
I love myself for sometimes not being able to love myself.
I love myself for learning to love myself.
I love myself for being willing to love myself.
I love myself simply because I exist.
I love myself as poet of a universe created by love.
I love.
I love.
Allow all these loving words to remain and stay with you.
To permeate every cell of your being.
And now have a big stretch.
Moving your body to make room for these new ideas.
For these new sensations of love.
Let them find a loving home in your body.
Stretching and moving the body as you gradually begin to open your eyes.
Feeling lighter.
And ready to go on about the rest of your day with love in your heart.
