Take a few moments to get yourself really comfortable.
Make sure that you are well supported with cushions,
Blankets,
Pillows.
Make any adjustments you need to make.
And then when you've found your most comfortable position,
Just allow yourself to sink into it.
Surrender to that support.
Turn your attention inwards and start to notice your breath.
And you don't need to change it or push it or force it.
But if you like,
You can allow the breath to deepen,
To draw the breath down deeper into your body.
All the way down into your belly.
All the way into the back of your body.
All the way down into the base of your spine and your pelvis.
And right from the root of your spine,
Start to connect in very powerfully with the support of the earth beneath you.
So feel yourself held,
Cradled,
Supported and embraced by mother earth beneath you.
And at the same time,
Turning your face to the light all around you.
Allowing that universal light energy to beam down,
Shine down,
And radiate into your body.
Allowing that universal light energy to be a light that shines down on you.
Washing through you.
Begin to draw those two energies into your body.
Allow them to meet,
Mingle,
And merge right at your center.
Allow that energy to burst out from your center to create a blank screen in your mind.
A light shining in front of you.
And on that screen,
I'd like you to project an image of you at a younger age doing something that you really enjoyed.
Something that you were really good at.
Something that brought you a lot of praise.
That made other people feel really proud of you.
But more importantly,
That made you feel proud of yourself.
Something that you absolutely loved to do and you did it really well.
And it could be an achievement,
Or something you said,
Or something you did without even trying.
That was just fantastic.
Make the colors bright.
Hear whatever sounds you can hear.
See the smile on your face.
The expressions on the faces around you.
And now let that image fade away.
And replace it with an image of something that you are yet to do.
And it might be something that you're a little bit nervous about or have some trepidation about.
But I want you to feel those same good feelings of pride in yourself,
Of confidence,
Of ease and fun.
See that same light expression on your face.
See the expressions on all the faces around you.
Feel that lightness in your heart.
Turn all of those good feelings up to their absolute maximum.
Make them stronger,
More intense.
Even more.
Breathe that into every part of you.
Breathe that into every cell of your body.
Right down into the base of your pelvis.
Right up to the crown of your head.
And all the way down to the soles of your feet.
Let your body remember this moment.
Now come back.
Go get them.
