Take a moment to move or stretch,
Really noticing how your body wants to move or where it might want to find some stillness.
Take your time to find a position that you can comfortably settle into and allow your body to drop down here to ground and rest on the surface beneath you.
You might want to picture the earth rising up to meet your body,
Holding it safe and steady as you rest for just a few minutes.
If you want to close your eyes you can,
Or keep them open with a soft gaze.
Take a long slow breath and remind yourself that there is nothing you need to be doing in this moment.
No matter what else might be going on for you,
The demands of the day,
Right now you can take just a few moments to put it all down.
You get to just breathe,
Just be here,
Held by the earth,
Soothed by the rhythm of your own breath.
Notice your own steady centre,
The groundedness and the peace that is here for you.
Allow your shoulders to drop down,
Let your jaw,
Your forehead soften,
Gifting your body with this little moment of peace.
Breathe it in,
Let something go on the exhale.
In a moment you can gently return to your day.
Before you do,
Maybe ask yourself what is it that you need in this moment?
It can be something really small,
Just tune in and notice.
Are you hungry?
Are you thirsty?
Are you sitting in a way that's a little bit uncomfortable?
Perhaps you want to move your body somehow?
Or just take a deeper breath.
What's one thing that you could do right now to feel even just a tiny bit better?
Take a deep breath,
Commit to doing that one thing.
When you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
