Take a slow deep breath.
Allow your body to settle.
And as you do,
Just gently turning your attention inwards.
Now I want you to imagine in your mind's eye.
A beautiful path in nature It might be a path that you know you've been on before.
Or one that's new to you or imagined just picturing that beautiful path.
I'm waiting there at the base for a moment.
Before you go anywhere Just taking a moment to meet with your parts.
Letting them know that you intend to go for a little walk by yourself and just see if they'd be okay with that.
If they're unsure will they say no?
Then you can let them know.
That you won't be gone for long and you'll come straight back to them afterwards.
And if there are parts that are still afraid or unwilling to let you go.
Perhaps you can offer a caring or protective figure that can wait there with them and take care of them while you're gone.
They might want a loving animal,
A familiar character or a safe person that they trust But even with that,
There might be some parts that still don't want you to go.
Then that's okay.
And you can just stay with them.
Spending some time listening to what they have to say.
Perhaps you can ask them what they're afraid might happen if they didn't come with you.
If after listening to them.
They really don't want you to go and that's okay.
And we can respect that.
You can come back to this meditation another time and try again or perhaps they can come along for a walk with you this time.
To seeing what feels right for you today.
But if your parts are okay,
Waiting at the base for you.
You can go ahead and step out onto the path.
Walking slowly really taking your time.
And as you walk I'm going to ask you to notice a couple of things first of all Are you walking or are you watching yourself walking?
Because if you can see yourself,
It's likely there's a part of you trying to do this for you.
And if that's the case you can just ask that part to relax,
See if it's willing to return to the base.
And that you continue to walk that path by yourself And if it does,
You'll notice a shift.
And you'll just be walking along,
Looking through your own eyes and as you continue Notice if you're thinking much.
Because if you are thinking.
.
.
That means there may well be a part that's still with you.
And if so,
You can simply acknowledge that part or those parts,
And see if they're also willing to go back and wait for you at the base.
If they do.
You'll notice a shift.
Towards more presence,
More quiet.
Just continuing to move down the path.
And as you go,
If you notice at any point a sense of lifting up off the path,
Like you're flying or soaring instead of walking,
And that's okay you can just go with that.
Take the experience in exactly as it is.
Just enjoying this journey a sense of presence.
You might also notice a feeling of warmth or a vibration flowing through your body this is healing energy and if you do feel this energy,
Just notice it enjoying its presence within you or perhaps asking if there's anything it wants you to know.
Sensing any messages you might receive You can take your time.
Pausing if you'd like to experience it for longer whenever it feels right.
You can turn around begin to return to the base.
There's no rush.
So you can really take your time.
When you get back to your parts at the base you can thank them for waiting for you just get curious about what that was like for them How was it for them to let you go on this journey?
Seeing what they might want to share listening with an open heart.
See if they'd be okay with letting you do this again some other time.
Or if there's anything they might need from you,
Now you've returned.
It might feel good to share some of that present,
Loving,
Healing energy with your parts let them notice what that feels like.
And you can thank them.
For letting you go if they did,
And if they didn't,
You can thank them for letting you know that they were afraid to,
And they didn't want you to.
Just taking a moment to close this experience,
Whatever way makes sense for you.
Saying goodbye for now.
Or agreeing time.
That you can return.
That deepening your breath.
Returning to your body.
Returning to the room taking as much time as you need.
Whenever you're ready.
You can open your eyes
