Thank you for joining me for this simple,

Mindful meditation.

Find a cozy place to sit or lie down.

Closing your eyes or lowering your gaze,

Start to allow your body to relax.

Gently wiggling your fingers and your toes,

Scrunching your face,

Allowing yourself to settle deeply into this moment.

Watch your attention come to your breathing,

Noticing the rise and fall of your belly or your chest.

Just breathing naturally,

Just noticing the breath,

Your body breathing you,

Knowing that there's nowhere else to go,

Nothing else to do right now,

But be here and breathe.

If your mind starts to wander,

Bring it back to your breath,

Noticing the inhale and the exhale,

Letting everything else slip away,

Coming deeper into this moment,

Just noticing the breath,

Sitting quietly,

Being with yourself,

Being present in this moment,

I'll take some time now to be with the breath,

Letting everything else go,

Listening for the chime,

We move deeper into presence,

And when I ring the chime again,

You'll know it's time to come back,

Enjoy this breathing,

Enjoy the stillness,

Following that breath,

And gently coming back to this place where you are,

To the present moment,

Back to yourself,

Just sitting quietly for a few more moments,

Integrating the peace and the stillness,

And when you're ready,

Opening up your eyes,

Or focusing on the outer room,

Just carry on with your day.
