Welcome to the Soul Spark Root Chakra meditation.
Prepared with love to help you connect more deeply to the earth element.
Begin by finding a very comfortable place to sit or to lie down.
Close your eyes and begin by connecting more deeply with the breath.
Allow your breath to flow gently.
Start by becoming more mindful in the presence of the body.
Imagine that each breath takes you more deeply inside of your cells,
Your organs,
Your deep tissues,
And your bones.
Really begin by connecting to your physical space.
Draw the mind inward,
Remembering that this time is for you to simply lay aside any thoughts,
Pressures,
Or stress,
And allow yourself to come more deeply into this moment with your attention.
Think of it as a gift to yourself.
When we are balanced in our root chakra,
We feel very secure.
We feel connected to the earth,
Connected to ourselves,
Connected to our loved ones,
And we feel connected to our purpose.
Take a nice big deep breath and hold it for a few moments and allow yourself to exhale.
One more time,
Take a nice big beautiful breath and holding for a few moments and allow it to release.
And one more time,
Fill up your diaphragm with your breath,
Hold it for just a few moments,
And exhale completely.
Imagine that you are standing on the fertile earth.
Your feet are bare and you can feel the cool grass beneath your feet.
Feel the strength in your legs.
Visualize the soles of your feet in contact with the earth and all of her energy.
Begin to visualize the core,
The fiery core of Mother Earth.
Really allow your heart to connect to this power of Mother Earth,
To the central anchor which energizes our whole planet.
And feeling the profundity of this energy,
Let us ask to receive this energy,
To activate it within our bodies by focusing on her core and beginning to visualize this energy coming up from the core,
Traveling through the plates of the earth,
Many layers of foundational earth and soil.
And see her golden light begin to travel upward and see it come through the soles of your feet.
Allow her golden light to travel upward,
Relaxing every part of your legs,
Allowing any tension to release as you visualize this light traveling upward.
Remember to breathe along with the light.
And as you allow this light to travel upward,
See it enter your root chakra and visualize a strong red color,
So energizing.
See your chakra expand as it comes into contact with the light of Mother Earth.
Allow this light to penetrate the chakra,
Healing and releasing anything that needs to be let go of inside of the root chakra.
Feel Mother Earth repairing your root chakra and raising it to the highest vibration.
See the chakra spinning and send your breath along with the light deep into the chakra.
When remembering the qualities of a balanced root chakra,
Silently repeat to yourself,
I am secure,
I am confident,
I am grounded.
I am secure,
I am grounded,
I am confident.
Breathe into your intentions,
Knowing that you are fully activating the power of the root chakra,
Connecting deeply with Mother Earth and her dynamic qualities.
As you think of the quality of being rooted and grounded,
Imagine your feet and your legs to be beautiful root systems and see them going deep into the earth.
Set your anchor into our wonderful planet,
To our divine Mother Earth Gaia,
And really plant your energy,
Plant your intentions into our nurturing mother.
Breathe deeply and begin to feel a surge of energy wash all over your body.
This is the abundance of our mother,
The abundant love of our mother washing over you.
Feel her protection and her guidance.
See her example in nature of being deeply rooted,
Like a strong ancient tree,
And this strong ancient tree is reaching upward to the heavens,
To the higher realms of consciousness.
Breathe into this beautiful example of an ancient tree.
See yourself as a strong tree in your life,
And picture your favorite tree,
Remembering the qualities that this tree illustrates to you and why you feel drawn to it.
What does your tree look like?
What is this tree showing you,
And how is it teaching you?
Begin to create space inside of yourself to receive the teaching that this tree has come to share with you today.
Ask the tree for guidance.
What would you like me to learn?
Ancient tree,
Thank you for your service to humanity.
Take in this message of wisdom and love from your special tree with so much gratitude,
And allow yourself for a few moments more to observe the qualities of the tree.
Keeping your spine straight and allowing the breath to continue,
Feel your body strengthen as you receive this powerful example from our teacher,
The tree.
Feel your body like the trunk,
Your central core,
Really strengthening.
Send the breath into the arms,
Imagining them to be flowering branches,
Opening and opening our hearts along with our arms that can expand to hug our loved ones,
That expand to help humanity.
Feel yourself opening your hearts and opening your arms to life,
To love,
To understanding and offering compassion for yourself and for all beings everywhere.
Breathe deeply into this gift that is being received.
Feel your heart expanding with this sacred knowledge,
A sacred example that trees offer us in their service to humanity.
And let us offer so much gratitude to our elders,
The trees.
And imagine your heart opening and expanding in the light of gratitude,
And sending this light outward to the earth and to all its beautiful trees everywhere.
Feel yourself so deeply connected to this sacred energy.
Feel this divine space of stillness that you've come to inside of yourself today through the help of our sacred elder,
The tree.
Be resting and patient like the tree,
Firmly rooted in the wisdom of the self,
And reaching upward and outward,
Expanding in love,
Open to receiving the lights,
The love,
And the grace of the divine.
Allow yourself to open your arms outward and upward,
Gently to the sky.
Bring your attention to the top of your head,
To the seat of the soul,
The crown chakra,
And let us ask to receive the divine light.
Gently visualize your crown chakra opening,
And taking a nice deep breath,
Visualize a divine white light washing over you,
Bathing you in love,
Bathing you in divine grace,
Feeling every part of your body touched by this sacred light,
Feeling so relaxed,
So loved,
And so protected.
Washing away anything that doesn't belong,
Any thoughts that are bothersome,
Any stress,
Just allow it to wash away with this divine light,
Being open to bliss,
Open to peace,
Open to the understanding of our true nature.
Allow your arms to come back,
Gently down next to the body.
Feel your breath moving through you smoothly,
Gently,
Providing so much tranquility to you.
And finally,
Let us rest in the temple of the heart,
Taking just a moment to reflect quietly upon our sacred meditation today.
Let us send out our love and gratitude to the divine source,
The great mystery that is sustaining this universe,
And our souls,
Our human life,
Let us send our love and gratitude to this divine consciousness,
And for all that has been received here today.
Knowing we can return to this place,
The sacred temple that lives inside of us eternally,
We can return here at any time as this essence is all-pervading,
Infinite,
Timeless.
Allow yourself to return to the body gently,
Taking a nice big beautiful breath.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Rotate the neck gently from side to side.
Take another nice deep breath,
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Open to this present moment.
Open to creating your intention for the rest of the day,
Keeping in mind all that was learned during our meditation to help guide you with purpose as you continue along in your sacred life,
On your sacred path.
