Welcome to the grounding meditation.
Take a deep breath and relax your head and your shoulders.
And another deep breath.
And as you breathe out,
Relax your arms and your torso.
And another deep breath.
And as you breathe out,
Relax your hips and your legs.
And go ahead and close your eyes if you haven't already.
And take one more deep breath.
And relax twice as much.
Now we're going to walk you through grounding.
And the first step is to connect your mind and spirit and your body and spirit so that you're 100% in your body.
So imagine your spirit connecting completely to your mind,
100% connected in your head,
Your brain,
Your mind,
And your spirit is in charge.
And then your spirit connecting 100% throughout your body,
Down through your spine,
Through your nerves,
All the way out to your fingers,
And all the way to the tips of your toes,
100% in your body.
Good,
A deep breath in your body.
Good.
Now imagine roots growing out from the bottom of your feet,
Going deep,
Deep into the earth,
Grounding you to the earth,
All the way down to the center,
The core of the earth.
Those roots reach all the way down.
And you can release whatever is not serving your spirit,
Mind,
Or body out through those roots into the ground.
Good.
And then coming up from the center of the earth is a new fresh root,
Bringing you everything that you need,
Coming up from the earth in through your feet and bringing you vitamins and minerals,
And courage,
And strength,
And hope,
And peace all the way up into your body.
Take a deep breath,
Grounded to the earth.
Good.
And now imagine reaching your arms up to the sky and sending up your love,
And your gratitude,
And your praise all the way up through the top of your head and through those open arms,
Just sending up your love and gratitude to heaven.
And then feeling light and warmth shining down upon you from heaven,
Coming down in through the top of your head and filling your body all the way down deep into your body.
Take a deep breath,
Connected to heaven.
Good.
And now you're in this beautiful infinity,
You in the middle,
Completely in your body,
And grounded to the center of the earth and connected up to heaven,
This beautiful flow of energy,
Keeping you safe and protected and giving you strength and courage throughout your day.
And take another deep breath.
Good.
And when you're ready,
Wiggle your fingers and toes and go ahead and open your eyes and come back to room awareness.
