Mother Mantra Chant: Practice & Meditate
by Shantiji
Sanskrit Prayer followed by Mother Mantra: OM Aim Hrim Shrim Tripuraev Namaha. Listen attentively with an open heart, chant along and then allow some time to sit silently. Focus on the subtle energy vibrating within- this promotes inner purification. Mentally visualize the sound vibrations circulating in the body as described below. OM- (ohm) the universal sound. Aim- (pronounced like: “I’m”) feel from the root chakra; this sound closes the root area (mula bandha) to prepare energy to move upward. Hrim- (with a rolled "r") feel in belly, pulling gently backward toward spine. Shrim- (a rolled "r") energy rises upward, sound vibrates in throat. Tripuraev- (Tri: soft "t" as the end of "that", rolled "r" felt in mouth). Sense this from back of head, vibration goes to top as prepares to go full circle. Namaha- (nam + ah + ha with soft “h”/ aspirate) energy continues moving from back of head circling back to the belly. "May you feel the closeness of Her loving embrace"~ Shantiji
