Good morning.

Welcome to this morning meditation designed to connect your mind and body,

Align your chakras,

And tap into your intuition to start your day focused and centered.

Please find a comfortable sitting position with your feet and maybe your seat on the floor.

Take a big inhale through the nose.

Exhale from the mouth.

Another deep inhale.

And exhale.

One more time.

Inhale,

Filling up the chest with as much air as possible.

Exhale,

Releasing all the air completely.

Now allow the breath to return back to its normal state.

Begin to notice where your body touches the earth beneath you.

Be present with this sensation for just a few breaths.

Notice how your body feels this morning.

No judgment,

No criticism,

Just awareness.

As we begin this meditation,

I will call your awareness to an area of your body,

A chakra.

I will mention the intention and affirmation for each area.

I will speak in first person,

Making it simple for you to absorb and repeat the words in your own mind or out loud if you'd like.

Let's begin.

I bring my awareness to the top of my head.

This is my crown chakra.

I am aware of my crown chakra.

Through it,

I am connected to the divine.

I call upon my angels,

Guides,

Ancestors,

And source or God to help and support me this day.

May they protect me and guide me through this day.

Next,

My awareness moves to the space between my eyebrows,

My third eye chakra.

This is where my intuition resides,

My inner knowing.

I can trust it to show me what I need to know for this day.

It reminds me to listen first to myself and filter what others say through my own wisdom.

As I move my awareness down to the throat chakra,

I notice my inner voice.

May I use my voice to speak my truth.

May I speak up for myself and for those who can't yet use their own voice.

May I speak beautiful words and kindness to raise the vibration of myself and those around me.

Now I become aware of the center of my chest,

My heart space,

My heart chakra.

I feel my beating heart moving in perfect rhythm.

Here is where gratitude and love live.

I am grateful for my body.

I am grateful for this earth I live on.

I am grateful for a new day.

I feel love and gratitude for myself.

I send love and gratitude out into the world to my fellow humans and all creatures of this earth.

Love is the basis of all that is good.

I move my awareness down to my solar plexus chakra,

Just between my ribs and navel.

Here lies my strength and courage.

Here is my power to make choices and changes.

I am strong.

I am brave.

I am powerful.

Now I am aware of my sacral chakra in my low belly,

My womb space.

Here is where my creative power resides.

I am able to create the life I choose.

I am open to new ideas and creative energy.

May I birth new creations of art,

Music,

Or any other medium to increase beauty in the world.

Finally,

I become aware of my root chakra at the base of my spine.

I am connected to the earth through my root.

I am stable and grounded.

I am one with the earth.

I am supported.

I welcome the energies of the earth to give me power to do all the things in the day ahead.

Now I repeat my affirmations for this day.

I am alive.

I am worthy exactly as I am.

I am enough.

I am of the divine.

I trust my inner knowing.

I speak my truth easily and with kindness.

I am loved.

I love myself and my body.

I love others.

I am strong and brave.

I am creative.

I am connected to the earth.

I am centered and stable.

This will be a good day and I will live it in gratitude.
