This is your grounding,
Centering,
And shielding exercise brought to you by Sarashun Moonsinger Darkwalker,

Find a comfortable position either seated or lying down.
Close your eyes and feel your body align and begin to breathe.
Your breath should be slow and controlled.
As you breathe,
All tension in your body drains from you.
Feel your whole body relax from the top of your head down through your body to your toes.
Your forehead and eyes are relaxed.
Your jaw is relaxed.
Your shoulders are relaxed.
Feel your arms and hands become heavy and relaxed.
Your torso is tension free as your muscles easily hold you.
Your legs are relaxed and heavy,
Releasing all tension into the earth below you.
Breathe.
Your body is at peace.
Your soul is at peace.
Your mind is at peace.
If any thoughts float into your mind,
Simply watch them pass like a boat on a still lake.
Imagine your breath pushing down through the base of your spine as if you were a tree pushing down roots.
Let those roots go down into the floor,
Through the soil.
Push down through the waters under the earth,
Down through the bedrock,
Down and further down into the fiery core below you.
Feel your body.
Is there still any tension or fear in you?
Let that flow into the fire below,
Through those roots,
To be transformed into pure,
Clean energy.
Breathe.
See yourself drawing some of that clean,
Fiery energy up.
Feel it as the earth's living,
Creative energy and bring it up through your roots,
Through the rock and the water and the soil.
Breathe it up into your legs and feet,
Through the base of your spine,
Into your torso and into your heart,
Down through your arms and into your hands and any place inside of you that needs extra healing or energy.
Bring the energy up through your neck and throat.
Feel your spine grow out of the top of your head like a tree with branches that reach up to the sky.
Grow them further to touch the heaven and the stars above you.
Feel the energy of the sun shining down on your leaves and your branches.
Breathe deep.
Draw that energy in.
Breathe it down through your leaves and through your branches,
Down through your heart,
Your belly,
Your hands,
Down into your legs and into your feet.
Take it in.
Breathe it in.
Feed on it like a tree feeds on sunlight.
You are now grounded.
You are connected to the earth,
Connected to your body and connected to the universe.
You are now cleansed and filled with positive,
Clean,
Creative energy.
Breathe and imagine a spark of divine light just below your sternum in your solar plexus.
This is your center.
As you breathe in,
See that spark turn into a sphere.
As you breathe out,
The light sphere grows.
As you breathe in,
The light sphere grows.
With every breath in and out,
The beautiful light sphere is expanding and growing,
Filling your belly and then your torso.
It expands upward and downward into your legs and neck.
Finally it surrounds you completely.
You are now inside a beautiful bubble of divine light.
With each breath in and each breath out,
See and feel the outer edge of the light sphere turning into a filter.
This filter surrounds you.
It is above you,
Below you and all around you.
You are encased in a special shell which filters out all negative energy,
Negative emotions,
Negative thoughts,
All drama and all anxiety projected around you.
See that this filter only allows in divine love and positive energy,
Joy and peace.
Breathe those thoughts into your filter.
With each breath,
The filter gets stronger,
Thicker,
More effective.
Yet your filter remains flexible to move with you.
Examine your filter.
What does it look like?
How does it feel?
Does it have a smell?
A texture?
A sound?
A taste or a color?
This is your filter of divine light,
Your shield,
Your safe haven,
Temple and protection from all negativity which would dare to approach you from any and all directions.
It only allows in positive energies which are for your greatest good.
Breathe and feel your body within this shield.
Feel your breath and notice the sounds and textures around you.
Feel yourself centered and grounded inside of this shield.
Leave this shield in place and begin to return to your normal state of awareness.
Become aware of the room and your body and the people around you.
You are grounded,
Centered and shielded.
When you are ready,
You may open your eyes.
