Hello everyone,
Today I really want to talk about the shift that we're all going through.
So many people talked about the shift of the equinox on December 21st 2020.
The shift really started nine days before the equinox so on December 12-12.
But those nine days are a where about a portal,
They were about crossing over into a new world.
When we think of a new world with everything happening on the planet,
Kind of connect to coronavirus.
But for me,
It's way above all of that.
A new world starts with ourself.
It starts with what we eat,
How we interact with others,
With how mindful we are of our thoughts,
How mindful we are of our emotions,
How much movement we incorporate in our day,
How we interact with ourself,
How we kind to ourself,
How we mean to ourself,
How we pushing ourselves too hard,
How we're too much in our comfort zone.
Really the new world starts with the way we connect to our own self and the way we interact with the rest of the world.
So the rest of the world is the rest of the humans,
But it expands also to the animals,
Non-harm,
Not hurting.
It expands to the way we consume things.
What do we buy?
Can we buy less?
Can it be more mindful?
Can we avoid plastic and we find a more practical solutions?
I mean,
I'm not saying like change your life completely.
Go from not like from a normal life to no more buying plastic,
No more meats,
No more.
But it all starts by every day you add a little more.
So let's say you want to go vegetarian or vegan instead of going all in for two weeks and stopping.
Just slowly incorporate more.
And when you realize that you really have a craving for something that isn't vegan,
You eat it,
You just enjoy it,
You enjoy every bite of it.
But 90% of the time or 80% of the time you try to go more mindful in terms of what you put in your body.
The food we eat is like if we put the wrong gas in the car,
The car won't move.
It's kind of the same concept.
If you put very heavy,
High sugar or carbs or anything that really isn't easy to digest for the physical body,
It's going to make it a lot harder.
So it's just about changing the perspective we have on things in general.
The food we eat,
The movement again we incorporate,
Doesn't have to be crazy workouts.
It can be just walking around the blocks a couple times or incorporating 30 minutes of light yoga or anything really that's movement and that makes you happy.
So the new world is about tuning in,
Tuning in to what's in alignment with ourself.
How can we do better and doing better doesn't start with changing the world,
It really starts with ourself and how we can be a better human for this planet.
How we can improve things.
What can we do that change,
That change slowly without creating a whole shock because the human body,
The human mind,
The human soul were used to different habits.
It takes 21 days to really change a habit.
So if you go too harsh on yourself and you're trying to do too much,
Especially as we're approaching new years,
We're all going to want to do too much and those new resolutions and I can do this and I can do that and I can do better.
Yeah,
We can always do better but do you want to do it for a week again or do you want to do it for a whole year?
Do you want in 2022 when you look back on your year to realize that your resolution started literally lasted 30 seconds or that you were consistent?
It's all a matter of choice.
Going slowly,
Respecting your own rhythm,
Not blaming yourself for going back to the old ways from time to time.
That's how we learn.
Just going with the flow but every day trying to do a little better.
There's a thing,
A principle I really like from Reiki,
This ancient Japanese lineage of healing and they really incorporate that sentence that quote everywhere which is just for today.
So everything you do is just for today.
It's not about tomorrow,
It's not about the day after,
It's not about what's going to happen in three weeks or three months from now.
It's really just about now.
Just for today.
We do the best we can and if we don't do so well,
We'll do better tomorrow,
We'll do better a minute after we didn't do so well.
And was it so bad?
Not really.
So all I want to say is all of this new world concept starts with your own self,
Your own heart questioning,
Trying to just be a better human on a day-to-day basis.
But it isn't so hard because we know how to be a good human.
Again when we first come to life,
We're full power before we accumulate all those different blockages in our physical body and those different programs about the society.
The moment we start letting go and we come back to our true essence which is our inner self,
We're really deeply kind.
Kind to the world,
Kind to our self,
Kind to our environment,
Kind to everything.
So it's all about connecting back to this kindness.
So in 2021,
I want to invite you to fully embrace your own inner higher self.
