Namaste and welcome to these eye exercises that not only release tension from your eye muscles but from your entire system and also have a balancing and downshifting effect on your nervous system.
In order to see for yourself how much the tension in your eye muscles relates to your entire body and releasing them affects your entire body,
Let's do this quick test.
Bring your right arm in front of your body on shoulder level.
Inhale here.
Bring your left arm across and just place your right arm inside the elbow of your left arm.
Tuck it in and across.
Pull your right arm across your body and twist your torso.
Just go to the edge you can reach and take a note of where your fingers are pointing to.
If you would like draw a line where your fingers are pointing to,
Just remember that place.
And on the next exhale release,
Come back to center.
Same thing to the other side.
Bring your left arm up,
Right hand underneath.
Tuck your left arm across and twist your body,
Your torso to the right.
Go as far as you can reach without forcing it.
Breathe deeply and just take a note of where your fingers are pointing to.
To the center.
Place your hands onto your thighs.
Make sure your face remains put throughout the whole eye exercises.
Don't allow your face to move,
It's just the eyes moving.
Take a deep inhale.
Exhale,
Bring your eyes as far to the right as possible.
Looking into the right corner of your eyes without moving your head.
Your face stays facing forward.
Just see how far.
You can also use your finger and move it further and further to the back.
Following with your eyes and see how far back you can still see your finger.
Keep your eyes there.
Towards that maximum far out point to the right side.
Stay there and breathe.
Don't hold your breath.
Keep holding this stretch just a little longer.
See if you can go even further without turning your head.
And exhale,
Release your eyes,
Come back to center.
Take a deep inhale here.
And exhale,
Move your eyes all the way to the left.
Look as far to the left as possible.
Use your left hand to go further and further back.
And see to what point you can still see your left finger.
Not allowing your head to turn.
Keep looking into that corner.
Keep that stretch on.
Breathe deeply in and out through the nose.
A few more seconds.
And exhale,
Roll your eyes up,
Keeping your eyes open.
Look as far up as possible.
As you would look through the crown of your head.
Maybe your eye muscles start to feel a little tired.
Keep stretching.
Take a deep inhale here.
It's okay if it feels a little straining.
Just breathe through it.
Bring your eyes looking all the way down.
Now start circling your eyes clockwise.
Moving all the way to the left.
Without skipping any part of the circle.
Draw a very slow circle with your eyes around the edges of your eyes.
You can use your finger as a help to follow.
Or you can do it without.
Just making sure you're not skipping any part of the circle.
Do one more clockwise.
Very slow.
Of your sight.
And when you're back at your starting position,
Reverse direction.
And go for two big circles.
Anti-clockwise direction.
When you arrive back at your starting position,
Close your eyes.
Breathe naturally.
Bring your hands together in front of your body.
Rub your palms against each other.
Rub nicely.
Create some heat between your palms.
Rub some more.
Get all your energy there.
And inhale.
Bring your hands on top of your eyes.
Cup your eyes.
Flood your eyes with the warmth,
The energies of your palms.
Right arm in front of your body,
Shoulder level.
Bring your left arm across.
Tuck your right arm across.
Go as far as you can reach.
And your body has increased.
Because you have relief.
Inhale,
Bring your left arm up.
Right arm across.
Tuck it in.
Twist to the right.
See how far you reach.
The power of eye stretches.
They actually allowed me to get rid of my glasses for driving mainly.
For foresight.
I don't need them any longer because I have done these eye exercises on a daily basis.
Thank you for sharing the practice.
