Welcome to your monthly terrascope.
This is for the month of October 2026.
I love the new card for us this month.
We are entering the energy of the Empress.
The Empress is such a nurturing and loving card.
I often think of it as the mother of the tarot.
One of the things the Empress energy does really,
Really well is that apart from nurturing and giving to others,
The Empress also knows how to take care of oneself.
And that's going to be the big theme of this month.
Is as much as we're putting out there,
Can we also allow ourselves to receive,
To bring it in?
And make sure that we're not overextending ourselves.
The Empress doesn't force growth.
In fact,
More what it does is it provides and makes sure that the conditions for growth are there,
That they're optimal.
So it's a big shift from last month to this month.
Last month with the two of coins,
We were trying to find the flow of the balance and then really prioritizing the things that mattered to us that we were juggling and letting go of the things that didn't really need our attention.
And now this month we're asked to continue that growth but to trust the process.
What is it that you are doing this month?
What are you concentrating on?
Because the Empress can go into any area.
It can go into relationships.
It can go into your health.
It can go into business.
It can go into your own growth.
So as we talk about the Empress,
I want you to keep that in mind.
And go from there.
A big message from this card is can you receive as well as you give?
I often say this is that it's actually really difficult for us to receive.
We have a lot of limiting beliefs that we hold on to and this month it's being made clear to me that we have an opportunity to let them go.
So many of us know how to work,
But the Empress is teaching us how to actually receive fully.
This month may look like you're honoring your rest and recovery,
Or enjoying how you're moving.
As we go through this month and we're opening up ourselves up to make sure that there is a balance of this.
One thing that can show up is where we actually are overdoing or overgiving for others.
And in that,
We're neglecting our own needs.
It's a perfect opportunity to not force it,
But to allow it in.
I often ask when this card comes up.
What am I not allowing in?
Where am I stopping myself from taking care of me?
Because it's so easy to take care of others.
This month is also about trust.
When we think of the Empress,
We often think of planting a seed and letting it grow.
But we get really excited and we tend to dig it back up and make sure that the roots are being planted.
And the Empress is saying,
Don't dig it up.
Plant it and trust it and know that you've done enough.
And so now you just have to wait and let it happen.
And that's a big shift for us.
Last month we were doing so much.
This month we're being asked to not do as much.
Our mind says,
But we have to.
We have to hustle harder.
We have to prove ourselves.
We have to earn our worth.
And the Empress is saying,
No.
In fact,
Your worth is inherent.
And to me,
That is a profound lesson.
It truly,
Truly is.
And it's not because we're losing the energy of the last few months.
We've had so much momentum,
But we are now allowing ourselves to be carried.
October is inviting us into a different relationship with that growth.
Instead of forcing it,
Instead of pushing harder,
We're being asked to just really,
Truly believe what we've planted is going to be what we're hoping for it to be.
Instead of chasing that abundance,
We're being asked to become available.
Available for it.
So what can we do for that?
It's easier said than done.
And that's what this whole month is about.
Becoming available for abundance.
