This is a recording of one of my mum's horses, Peggy, munching the hay from the net in her stable. Having grown up around horses, I find them really calming to be around. To me, they are the definition of "gentle giants". Peggy has a lot of personality. She's quiet, but mischievous when she wants to be too. I don't see horses as much as I did when I was younger these days. It was a daily occurrence as I helped with feeding and brushing them. The sound of horses eating has always been calming for me. I used to just sit in the stable with my mum's horses and listen to them eating, being present and mindful. I think this is why I enjoy recording these sounds too - so I can go back to that moment any time I want and harness that feeling again. I hope you enjoy it too. Unfortunately, the photo for this one is not Peggy - She didn't want me to take her picture sadly. She can be stubborn like that.

I lost my 30 year old horse last summer and this track is a blessing to me. I love it. Saved it to my favorites. Thank you for sharing this. ❤️🙏
