Welcome friends,
It's Rakhmini.
This meditation is for insomnia.
And you know,
One of the greatest contributors to insomnia is worrying about insomnia.
So I invite you now to let that go.
I'm assuming you're in bed,
Laying down in this moment,
And not driving or operating heavy equipment.
You don't want to be doing that.
Just allow yourself to let go of the idea of falling asleep and invite in the idea of complete and total relaxation.
Listening to the sound of my voice,
Staying connected to the sound of my voice,
Taking a deep breath in and letting it out.
And a deep breath in and out.
And allow the bed underneath you to hold you.
Feeling the softness of the bed under your feet,
Under your calves.
Allow the bed to hold you under your knees.
Feeling the softness under your thighs.
Sinking in to the bed around your hips.
And allowing your whole torso to gently float down,
Down into the mattress.
Allowing your shoulders and your neck to rest in the pillow.
And finally,
Your head.
Let it sink deep into the pillow.
And allow your whole body to let go.
Stay with the sound of my voice.
Deep breath in and out.
Feeling tension melt from your head down to your toes.
Releasing any trapped energy as you move along.
Listening to the sound of your own breath.
Inhale through your nose.
Holding it for just a moment and letting go.
Breathing out of your mouth.
Let's do that again.
Breathing in through your nose.
Holding it for just a moment longer.
