Today,

We are going on a journey of self-love.

Anyone can benefit from this exercise,

But some will need it more than others.

Begin by getting into a comfortable position and closing your eyes.

You can sit or lie down,

It does not matter.

Be sure that you are in a quiet place,

Free from distractions.

In this moment,

We are focusing on you.

We will begin by breathing deeply.

Nourishing your body with oxygen and relaxation are two simple ways you can begin to heal your relationship with yourself.

Give your body and your mind what it needs.

Inhale deeply,

Filling your lungs with the fresh,

Vital air.

Feel any tension and doubts you might have.

With each deep breath in and slow breath out,

You begin to relax deeper and deeper into the surface below you.

The tension in your muscles fades away,

Your face relaxes,

And your fingers and toes go soft.

Continue breathing in the nourishing oxygen,

Kindling the fire within your cells that your body needs.

Now,

With each breath in,

Imagine a soft pink light flowing through you.

It enters through your nose and gently moves through you.

This pink light is the self-love you deserve.

Allow it to move freely.

Breathe deeply.

This pink light will go where it is needed most.

Your heart to heal your soul,

Your body to see yourself as perfect just the way you are,

Your mind to ease the doubts of self-hatred and stop the seeds of self-neglect.

We are going to move through affirmations for self-love,

Seeding the light of love with the thoughts and warmth of yourself.

Breathe deeply,

And with each affirmation,

The light grows stronger and warmer.

Today,

I choose me.

I am important.

I am worthy of compassion.

My body is wonderful and strong.

I am at peace.

I am proud of my accomplishments.

I belong.

I do not judge myself.

I am kind to myself.

I believe in myself.

I am worthy.

I am confident in myself.

I love who I am.

I am whole on my own.

I respect myself and my limits.

My body and feelings are valid.

I am doing my best,

And that is enough.

I am loved.

The simple act of taking a deep breath and nourishing your body is a step in the direction of self-love.

Allowing yourself the space to rest,

Relax,

And recuperate is vital to a healthy mindset.

Let your self-love flow freely,

And allow the pink light to envelop you and carry you through any difficult thoughts or feelings you may have.

These affirmations are only the beginning.

Self-love is a journey,

One that you are on right now.

I have faith in you.

I believe in you.

You are perfect just the way you are,

And you are worthy of love from the most important person in your life,

Yourself.

Continue breathing deeply and relaxing for as long as you need.
