Why Mediate? a podcast came to me while I was attending a retreat at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. One of the attendees (new to mediation) asked a question: Why? Why should I do this? After a 16 year practice, I found that I had stopped asking why every time I sit. When I started asking “Why?” I found wonderful Teachers, Scientist and Religious Leaders to tell me.
