Bring your awareness to the center of your chest,

To your heart.

Notice what you feel there in your heart.

What physical sensations do you find there?

What emotions do you notice?

Observe what you feel without needing to label these sensations as good or bad.

Just notice and accept whatever is.

Notice whether you feel relaxation,

Joy,

Warmth,

Love,

Gratitude,

Or bliss.

Notice as that feeling of warmth,

Love,

Joy expands outward from the heart,

Bathing your entire body in an energy of pure bliss.

And as that wonderful blissful feeling takes over your entire body,

Notice as it starts to emanate outward from your body,

Enveloping you in a cloud or a bubble of energy.

The electromagnetic field of the heart expands at least 3 meters beyond the physical form of the body.

Imagine this electromagnetic field as a cloud or a bubble,

Lifting you up and away from your body.

Begin to feel yourself drifting and floating,

Drifting and floating,

Upward and onward through time and space.

Allow yourself to be transported up and away to another place.

Imagine the most beautiful,

Serene,

Comfortable place.

This can be somewhere you know in this life,

Or a sanctuary that exists only in your imagination.

This is your home,

Your paradise within the mind.

Where are you?

What surrounds you?

What sounds do you hear?

There before you,

See a tunnel appear in thin air.

Emerging from the tunnel is a bright,

Silvery,

Crystalline light.

Leaving your conscious mind behind,

Allow your spirit to float up through the tunnel.

And as you look around you,

You can see that you are floating in the cosmos,

Surrounded by planets and galaxies,

Floating and drifting peacefully through space.

As you drift and float through time and space,

In the darkness,

You start to become aware of a smell.

The smell of smoke begins to waft toward you.

And as the smell becomes stronger,

You start to feel a certain warmth on your face.

As you begin to arrive,

You become aware of your surroundings.

You find that you are sitting on the ground before a campfire.

You can feel the earth beneath you,

Grounding you.

It is nighttime,

And you are sitting in a circle,

Surrounded by others.

The firelight glows on each of their faces,

Each person of varying ages and ethnicity.

You have never seen a more diverse gathering.

However,

As you look around,

You notice a similarity in each expression.

There is a look of wisdom and a spark of playfulness in each smile,

Each eye.

It is as if everyone shares a secret,

A very important secret.

And as you observe this,

You realize that you are in on it as well.

This universal secret was once known by all souls.

It lies deep within us all,

Imprinted in the Akashic Records.

Yet the world in which we live,

This modern world,

Has repressed this secret,

Hiding it away.

When you remember this secret,

Your inner fire will reignite.

You will shine brighter than ever before.

You can't make out the words,

But you start to hum the tune,

As the vibrations sound from within your chest,

The words magically appear,

Emerging from your lips.

They are simple,

Poignant.

Hear the words now as they emerge,

Sounding through you,

A tune for eternity.

As you sing,

Joining your voice with theirs,

You find yourself entering a trance.

You begin to see the sound waves of the song surrounding you,

Passing through you,

The waves are many colors.

They glitter and glow.

This is the purest and truest you.

With ease and grace you move within this group,

Floating,

Dancing,

Caressing.

You give life to those around you through your energy,

And then one day,

A darkness descends.

This darkness squeezes and suffocates.

It is a fog that creates confusion,

Disorientation.

Suddenly nothing feels natural.

You feel you must suppress,

Contort all that is you in order to conform,

To survive.

As the darkness expands,

Choking and distorting all that you know,

You can feel your power leaving your body.

Your true essence,

All that is you,

Is being forced out,

Drained.

Just as you think you will lose it forever.

Just as you begin to give in,

To let go,

A creature appears before you.

It is your spirit animal.

This mystical creature appears before you,

Glowing in the darkness,

Burning off the tendrils of smoke and smog.

It absorbs your power,

Taking it in,

Promising to keep it safe.

Holding onto it until you can find a way to freedom.

You pour all of your essence,

Your inner strength,

Your truest self into your spirit animal.

And then you collapse to the ground.

You see your spirit animal fade away,

As you drift off into a dreamless sleep.

Many lifetimes pass.

In each,

The darkness takes a different shape.

At times,

You regain a portion of your power,

Beating back the darkness,

To find your spirit waiting for you beyond.

Your spirit animal is never far,

Always waiting.

Sometimes you catch a glimpse of it,

A phantom in the shadows.

Throughout the lives you live,

You continue to learn.

You become more familiar with the darkness.

You begin to learn its ways.

You come to understand that its power comes from fear.

The darkness is a master manipulator,

And through its manipulations,

It fabricates lies,

Sowing the seeds of fear to keep everyone in line.

Once you realize this,

Once you have this information,

You know you have all you need to fight it.

And you do.

You blink,

And find yourself once again sitting in the circle.

The fire before you,

Surrounded by your sisters and brothers in arms.

As you look around this time,

You take in more detail.

And as you do,

You realize that everyone,

Including you,

Is wearing armor.

You admire the metal plates glinting and gleaming in the firelight.

It is a beautiful sight.

You are surrounded by fierce warriors,

Your tribe.

And as you look even further beyond the inner ring of the circle,

You see you are flanked by your spirit animal,

Your and each of theirs.

You all stand at once,

Turning to face your spirit animal.

The time has come.

You are ready.

You stand before your spirit,

Locking eyes.

You see your power flow back to you.

You feel as it zaps your chest,

Returning to your heart.

Feel it as it grows in strength,

Emanating from your chest and vibrating through your entire body.

You can see the threads that bind you to your spirit animal as they continue to pour your strength back into your body.

And then you look around to see that the same threads bind you and each of the others here in this circle.

You are stronger together.

And in solidarity,

You can face any challenge.

The inseparable bonds of your common cause run through you all and they are fused with love.

As you stand here in this ritual,

You make a vow to your fellow beings,

To the world.

What is your vow?

How will you remember this moment and carry this legacy forward?

How will you fight through the darkness and bring forth the light?

With the words of your vow still ringing in your ears,

The scene begins to fade.

Whenever you need a reprieve from the world around you.

Whenever you need a moment to regain your strength.

Here you are reunited with your conscious mind.

Allow your conscious and subconscious to come back together as one happy and healthy whole.

Take in one final breath of peace and relaxation.

Take one last look around,

Basking in the warmth of this moment.

And then let it all fade away.

Returning now to the present moment.

Coming back to your body here in the now.

You may start to bring some slow movement to your arms,

Your legs,

Your head.

As you slowly blink your eyes open,

Returning to the here and now.
